Why do I find people’s voices annoying?

Well I if I had to guess its either because you are not a people person or certain voices or sounds do not appeal to you. I personally find some voices annoying. One being my own, I hate the high pitched sound of my voice. And especially hate hearing my voice on recordings. Likewise, I have a preference of voices like lower pitches or accents. I really love the Australian, scouse and Irish accents. I find them appeasing and easy to understand but also very diverse compared to what I am used to hearing. I think it is also possible to condition yourself to dislike a certain voice due to negative past experiences.
