I like girls and boys, but I want to be a different gender then what I was born. So what does that make me?

If you identify as the opposite gender than the one you were assigned at birth, that would make you transgender. And if you like girls and boys, that would make you bisexual. Your gender identity and your sexual/romantic orientation are distinct entities that do not affect one another. Being trans and bisexual is possible and it's totally ok!

This would make you bisexual and transgender. Transgender means you identify as a gender other than your sex, and bisexual means you are attracted to more than one gender. While I myself am not bisexual, I am a nonbinary lesbian, so I understand how gender and sexuality can sometimes feel like they are conflicting. At the end of the day, they are completely separate. You liking men and women won't change the gender that fits best for you, and your gender will not change who you love. No matter how scary this might be, I believe in you and I wish you the best.

I don't think anyone can tell you who you are, that's something you yourself must figure out. You don't have to worry about labels; they're just neat to look at, but you shouldn't have to stress over them. Explore yourself. Your gender preference doesn't have to influence your gender identity, either. Just from the black-and-white of things, it sounds like you might be transgender and bisexual, but again, that is entirely for you to figure out, not for me to tell you. There's no need to rush through it, either. Take your time, everything will clear up in time.
