The first step in getting your ex to leave you alone is to first tell them politely that you do not want them to contact you anymore. If that does not work. You move onto blocking every account associated with them. If that does not work you tell them that if they do not stop you will not hesitate in getting a restraining order taken out on them. If then they still do not stop harassing you it is then valid to go and get a restraining order taken out on this person to insure your safety and mental wellbeing
