Make time for both..try an hour of school work after you've come back from work and are relaxed. Do let your boss know that you are dealing with school too so that they know and can help you out also, not give you too much workload.

Be sure to set boundaries between the two. It's all about finding balance, and keeping your priorities straight. School should always come first, and your workplace needs to understand that. Don't work so much that it's impacting how you're doing in school.

I highly recommend you put your education first, because no matter how much work experience you, people will be less likely to hire you if you don't complete school. So do shorter work hours during weekends or afternoons and when exams start rolling in, decrease the number of shifts you take. You will always have many jobs out there waiting for you, but you only have these few years to get a proper school education.

For me its about having a good routine and being flexible. I usually set aside 2-3 hours in the evening to focus on my schooling, whether that be reading or working on essays. Having a checklist keeps me accountable.

Prioritization and time management. Juggling work and school is difficult, but the key is managing your time well and not letting yourself get behind. I like to set a timer and work hard for 50 minutes and then give myself a 10 minute break. I am able to focus but don't feel trapped and unable to do something I like - such as pop in to a 7Cups chat room! Remember - your health is important. Sleep, exercise and eating well will help you to maintain a busy life schedule!
