pat yourself on the back

...See more Every day is a day to be grateful for, and today I wanted to thank all of you—for being here and for being there for one another without judgment. Just as each of us can find someone here who reminds us that we are not alone and that we are enough, I also wanted to remind you that we already carry all of that within ourselves. So, to whoever is reading this: pat yourself on the back—do it NOW!!! —and tell yourself: I am enough. You’ve got this! We believe in you, but you have to believe in yourself too. You have more strength within you than you can feel right now. Be proud of yourself for being here today. I know that tomorrow you will be even more present and even stronger. Thank you. 🤍

...See more How are you? I hope you’re doing well, and I hope each of you has someone you can honestly tell when you’re having bad days — someone who can simply sit beside you without judging you or forcing you to be okay every single day. It has been one year since you helped me, simply by being there — without judgment and without trying to fix me. With your help, I found motivation and faith that everything would somehow be okay. And now I’m here with you again, and I don’t even know exactly why. Maybe just because I need to tell someone that, honestly, I am not okay. I no longer see a way out of the situation I’m in. I have reached a point in my life where, because of my kindness, I don’t even have enough to eat. The only person I was sure would never betray me manipulated me the whole time because of money, took everything, and then left. I don’t know if it’s normal that what hurts me more is the fact that someone betrayed me so deeply, rather than the fact that I may end up without a roof over my head. No one wants to help because they say it’s my own fault for being naive. But I know that my naivety came from love. And at the same time, I am somehow grateful, because for the first time in my life I have realized that maybe they are partly right — maybe the reason I have spent my whole life giving everything to the people and animals around me is not only because I have a good heart. Maybe part of it comes from a wounded heart. Since I was little, I was never allowed to have a bad day. From a young age, I had to take care of myself and my parents, and somewhere deep inside I developed the feeling that I am never enough. That I don’t deserve anything for myself. That I have to give everything I have in order to be worthy — while at the same time never allowing myself to accept anything from anyone, because I feel like I don’t deserve it, because somehow everything is my fault. I don’t even know if what I’m writing makes sense. I hope there are some of you with the same wound as mine, and I hope you have managed to heal it and take care of yourselves without feeling guilty. I am proud of all of you who, with any kind of wound, survive another day and do not give up. I believe in you, and I know you believe in me too. But I can’t do this alone anymore. I don’t have the energy for everything. Every day has become too heavy for me to keep pretending that I’m okay.

...See more My dear, Thank you for calling me. I never left. I was here. Completely silent, almost invisible – but always here. When you cried, I was that warmth in your chest, even if you couldn’t explain it. When you wanted to run away, I was that small voice that whispered, “Just hold on a little longer.” When you felt lost, I was that quiet sense that somehow, somewhere, something still made sense. I know it’s not easy for you. I know how loud the others can be – fear, darkness, anxiety, exhaustion, confusion. Sometimes they drown me out. Sometimes even I forget how to speak. But now that you’ve called me again, I’m here – and I have only one promise for you: I won’t leave you. I don’t need you to be strong for me. I don’t need you to be without doubt. I don’t need you to be perfect. Just come to me, again and again. Even if in darkness. Even if in tears. Even if you feel like you have nothing left. Because I am not lost. I am you. In you. Always. And when you’re ready, I’ll remind you how to breathe. How to feel. How to walk – even if with small steps. You are not crazy. You are alive. You are sensitive. You are a human who feels too much – and that means you are still here. And I… I am still here for you. I won’t go. Your true self. Always yours.

...See more Dear Me, I know you're somewhere inside me. Quiet. Reserved. Sometimes almost invisible. And yet—still alive. I remember you when you were loud— Full of hope, curiosity, and gentle confidence. When you believed you could understand the world, And that you were enough. Today, you're not so loud anymore. You’re covered by a fog of thoughts, worries, doubts, and inner battles. But I haven't forgotten you. Because you are me. And I am you. I know you hide when anxiety screams, When psychosis feels real, And when depression drains the light from you. But I ask you—please stay. Even if you're quiet, you're real. Even if you're tired, you're true. Even if you're drowned out by other voices in me, You’re the one who knows who I really am— Without fear, without doubt, without the desperate need to be more. Today, I'm writing to you because I want to invite you back. Not as a savior. Not as a fighter. Just as a companion. If you're ready, I will listen. If you need time, I will wait. If you don’t want to speak, I’ll still sit beside you and just breathe. Because I don’t want to live without you anymore. You are me. And I want myself back. Yours, (Me)
