...See more Dear: Diary I am very thankful that my violin professor satisfied my practice and my execution especially my piece of Sonata by Handel. I am glad he that appreciate my hardship. I prove him I am worth student, I really want to increase my level and more meticulous and emotion while playing my violin. Now since I deactivated my social media account that I am more focus practice my violin, reading some music education books and explore a lot outside of music. I feel I am free from the toxic person especially my classmates, school mates, professors and chairperson of my department. Who are don't understand and accept me that I do have mental health problem.

...See more Hello everyone today I will discuss the title "Technique+Expression/Emotion=Perfect" So what is the importance when you study the music especially the piece that you can apply through technique and emotion? Disclaimer: I am not expertise but I will share through experience as a musician. I play violin for seven years and study my degree BM in Music Education for 4 years. And this what I want to share to you through experience, observation and discover. As what I see nowadays some of the people they really want to focus more technique or more expression through performance. But as what I see they did not balance both. Yes It's so hard most of them they really want perfect because, you scare the mistakes. For classical trained musician they are more focus the techniques even you are playing instrument or singing. On the other hand for for non classical musician or contemporary they are more focus through emotional. But I realize when we combine techniques and emotion even you are classical train or contemporary performer(like pop, rock and so on in modern era) your execution or performance they will see your own character and telling what is the meaning of behind composition others you play. You show the you are interested and play or sing through your hardship and displines. Your outcome you did not realize it's worth and you realize when you study technique and emotion you are more satisfying your performance and experience what you learn. I hope you appreciate. ...See more Dear: Diary Today I need to break using social media. Due to triggering my depression again. I feel I am not fitted the society in my own country especially if you're intelligent and perseverance person. I don't know if the intelligence is the curse? I feel it's better to reside with other countries to show who am I and accept who am I. I feel as an Asian so many expectation you need to follow especially study and work. They do have hierarchy that oldest is the superior and you need to follow. God please I wish for my future I need to reside with other countries us soon us possible. I need some fresh perspective like open about mental health problem, open about disability, neutral and accept other perspective. Give me more opportunities to improve my skills in music that never thought me in school and learn be more practical. I never regret that I tried webinar in international I learned a lot especially the music education skills. And also honing my violin skills combined with technical and emotional expression.

...See more Dear: Diary Now tonight my depression trigger again. Because due to see my former school experience pinning ceremony to become intern teacher, that I never experienced due the discrimination of my mental health problem. Now I feel numb and I can't focus to practice my violin. Flashback my mind due bad experience due the mental health problem discrimination. I never forgot that my music professor and music chairperson did to me not including pinning ceremony for teaching due my mental health problem. For me that's traumatic to me as having diagnosed of mild depression. My mood now: 😭😶‍🌫️🧐😤⚡💢

...See more Hello everyone Adelize is back!! Well I just wanted to share with you. Do you notice that most of the society standard whenever you country come from, but it's the same standard? Because I experienced the age discrimination before and I started to learn violin when I was 16. Yes late right? Most of the motto of people who judge what you want to learn and continue your passion "study early makes you smart and study older not good and you are not smart". For me I did not believe that because if you really passion to learn, explore and discover. You cannot let them stop you what your mind and heart you want for your better mental health. *Because most of the people they don't understand what really mean of exploration and passion. But in my case sorry to say I almost d!ed my mild depression because I feel no one understands me and feeling hopeless. When my music arrives me I felt music heals me and music is the bridge understand how to express through playing with emotion. For me I just want to prove that age doesn't matter if you want to learn something good for your mental health and coping your mental health also. For me don't underestimate the beginner/starter and just let them learn. I hope it helps you to motivate you. Just don't scare to explore what you want and you did not realize that your mental health problem getting better. It's not bad to learn other things for your good. Thank you! #stopagediscrimination

Know about me: * Currently I am study BM in Music Education senior year student. * Violinist intermediate level. * I diagnosed mild depression when I was 16 year old due my trust issue to my peer. * I do love study different approach in music. * Interested to study different tradition and culture of music every country. ...See more I don't understand as a violinist student(intermediate level). Learning music is form of relaxation. Music can making friends. But the problem to me why my violin professor see me lots of mistakes in our lesson and I don't understand why. For me it feels me uncomfortable and I am so tired being music student. So many criticism, did not see your efforts and sensitivity. I told my professor before that I do have mental health problem but I feel he ignored. I guess my depression getting trigger again. I am so tired correcting me and every our lesson always sees me, wrong, wrong, wrong. Bad, bad, bad. The words what the most hurtful to me he said I am slow learner. I feel so burden not.
