Music importance study: Technique+Expression/Emotion=Perfect

Hello everyone today I will discuss the title "Technique+Expression/Emotion=Perfect"

So what is the importance when you study the music especially the piece that you can apply through technique and emotion?

Disclaimer: I am not expertise but I will share through experience as a musician.

I play violin for seven years and study my degree BM in Music Education for 4 years. And this what I want to share to you through experience, observation and discover.

As what I see nowadays some of the people they really want to focus more technique or more expression through performance. But as what I see they did not balance both. Yes It's so hard most of them they really want perfect because, you scare the mistakes.

For classical trained musician they are more focus the techniques even you are playing instrument or singing. On the other hand for for non classical musician or contemporary they are more focus through emotional.

But I realize when we combine techniques and emotion even you are classical train or contemporary performer(like pop, rock and so on in modern era) your execution or performance they will see your own character and telling what is the meaning of behind composition others you play. You show the you are interested and play or sing through your hardship and displines.

Your outcome you did not realize it's worth and you realize when you study technique and emotion you are more satisfying your performance and experience what you learn.
