I feel like my BF is hiding things from me

...See more Recently my BF has stopped telling me when he goes to do things or who he is with. It was a major respect thing that I asked for when this relationship started and he used to be so good about it. He would always give me a heads up about where he wanted to go and who he would be around, but has stopped this past week. I don't know if maybe he is hiding things or maybe someone, but it has been severely affecting my mental. I will be honest and say, I know what he is doing and who he is with. I always do. My thing is the respect that I feel is being neglected. I feel lied to and betrayed in a way. For example, yesterday he said he was gonna go get some food and be back in a bit. He left and was gone for maybe an hour, but he wasn't getting food. He went to play games without saying anything with a friend whom I have mentioned wanting to meet (a girl) but he said isn't important enough for me to really get to know. It has been happening more and more recently. The worst part is the fact that I know and yet when I ask what he was up to or why he was gone so long, he lies still.. and I just don't understand why. Am I overreacting? Is this not a red flag I should be worried about? I have brought it up to him two separate occasions that it bothers me and that I just want that mutual respect. I don't care what he wants to do or who he wants to be friends with or hang with- I was always okay as long as I was given a who/where/when. My point is that he doesn't care to tell me anymore and it feels almost shady.

I feel emotionally neglected

...See more I have been struggling with my seeming as if they're not happy with me anymore. As of late, my partner has been doing things that I have mentioned upset me before, and he used to be good about respecting those boundaries I asked for. However he recently started doing them again and when I asked/mentioned it to him, all I was given was "I'm sorry you feel that way", and if I'm honest- that really hurt me. I don't know why I feel as though I am losing him when nothing should be wrong. I tried to have a conversation with him, and it was just me telling him how I felt and him saying 'ok' or that he was sorry he couldn't help reassure me. He has been dealing with some issues surrounding his friends lately, and he is also not a very good communicator when it comes to things like that. I just don't understand why he was able to do things to ensure I was comfortable, but can't or doesn't want to now. It makes me feel like maybe he is disinterested in me or losing feelings. He has reassured me that he IS NOT going anywhere, but I can't help feeling that way. I just can't shake it. I feel neglected by the person I love and who's meant to love me. I have been going to therapy for help with things he mentioned hurting him, and I thought maybe he could try to work on things for me too? But it always feels like I am asking too much of him or I am forcing him to talk to me. He disappears at random to go play games without saying anything after I mention multiple times that I want him to tell me when he is going to go somewhere or wants to go hangout with friends. It was a small (or so I believed) ask, something that just seemed like a common respectful curtesy..? Maybe I'm overthinking or being too hard about the situation. Please help..

Am I the problem?

...See more Lately I have been feeling as though my needs are not being addressed by my partner. By needs I mean things like my love languages or proper communication. Every time I mention something about my feelings or thoughts he almost brushes me off in a way and turns it around as if I'm saying he isn't "doing enough" for me. All I want is to confide in the people I love about how I am doing mentally and as of recently, I don't feel like I can without causing a rift. I have been struggling a little with my mental/physical health because of the stress it has been causing me. I feel guilty for wanting to communicate with my own partner. It feels as though I am begging to have a connection with him, let alone tell him what's wrong when things happen or come up. It always ends up with him thinking I am pointing out his 'short-comings' or what he isn't doing right for me, how he isn't doing enough. It makes me sad, because he's aways there for me. Just lately it's been hard and I feel like I am at war with myself. I need help. I can't ever help but think; Maybe I'm dumping my problems onto him. Maybe he's annoyed of me. Maybe I'm too emotional. Maybe I'm asking for too much. I don't know what to do, I am at a dead end and I feel as though I can't fight anymore. I'm not upset with him, I'm upset with myself because I must have done something to push him away and cause the avoidance towards my feelings. Please help me understand what I can do to make the pain less, or if there's a way I can express how I feel without causing him to get defensive. Please.
