~ She who fears suffering already suffers from what she fears. (Qui craint de souffrir souffre déjà de ce qu'il craint.)

Never confuse dreaming about your life with living your dreams. (Il ne faut pas confondre rêver sa vie et vivre ses rêves.)

~ Always aim for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.

~ There are no such things as coincidences, only meetings. (Il n'y a pas de hasard, il n'y a que des rendez-vous.)

~ I was so close to you that I feel cold around others. (J'étais si près de toi que j'ai froid près des autres.)

The silence of rain

...See more Sometimes silence feels much softer, Than any words you could offer What does define a listener When facing a loud weather Is not to shout over the rain It’s to stand here amidst the pain To pray with you for a sunray To share an umbrella and stay

Empty

...See more Empty As in end As in quiet But also noisy As in, all I wanted was to feel something And all I won was to keep falling Empty as in everything When all around is hollow When all emotions are shallow I look past or I see through Anyways I am not here I am in all you cannot touch I have no clue I don’t think clear I disappeared it was too much

We all need allies
Poetry / by FairyPeanut

...See more How to hide from others What you see in yourself What you think bothers But just worsens your health Is it your decision, Or do you want to please ? Is it an illusion, Rather than a disease ? Ask yourself the right thing: Do you get benefits, When the worst of it hits? Are people supporting Even your lowest sides ? If all are negative Well, we all fail sometimes Our peace can be fictive While we’re fighting inside Just don’t wear yourself out Find allies to match your stride Friends to stay through the fallout

It used to be simpler

...See more When the thoughts take up all space And the unsaid only remains When life shows its true face When is left only what pains Is your truth only so true? Do you pain out of the blue? Or were your doubts validated? Was your faith not that solid? All questions are worth asking Yet only some appear answered It’s all it takes to be longing A time when thoughts were still gathered

What will Autumn bring
Poetry / by FairyPeanut
Last post

...See more Autumn is coming back Winter is on its way Longs sleeves soon on the track The Sun dimming its rays Doing weird things to my brain While fall leaves and pour rain Mind stuck on the what-ifs Hope is none of my beliefs Will the long nights spare me? Will the dark thoughts soften? Or am I bound to foresee, Those waves doomed to happen?

There could always be « better »
General Support / by FairyPeanut

...See more There could always be better. And I’m not saying that in a motivation way. The fact that better still and always exists means to me that I’ve never reached the “best”.  I’ve been in a mid state for so long that I’ve normalized it. And I still do. Like a lot of us I guess. But thinking about it makes it ten times harder to live.  I don’t know what truly good is. And maybe I’ll never know. Because even though I always feel mid, okay or fine, that’s enough for me to get through the motions, to keep living, to survive. And to reach that point of truly good would mean to put in a new kind of effort. An effort that would make me get back under fine and probably touch the bottom before I can get back to the surface.  And that’s where I stop. Because nothing motivates me to get further down when I’m already feeling like I’m drowning. Not even the hope of getting back up. Because that’s what it is: hope. And that thread is too thin to pull onto when you’re drowning and there’s no one to hold the other end of it. Drowning is the numbness and the quiet, while the surface demands to swim, to pop back up into the noise of the outside. So I stay there in my mid water. Helplessly falling deeper and towards the bottom. Because hoping for better, hoping for a lifeline to be thrown at us doesn’t make the swimming to reach it easier. Maybe I’ll never know good, but I won’t deliberately dive deeper either.

A few words from Romain Gary that I know by heart..

...See more "I know that life is worth living, that happiness is within reach, and that all it takes is to find your true vocation and devote yourself to what you love with total self-surrender."
