What will Autumn bring
Autumn is coming back
Winter is on its way
Longs sleeves soon on the track
The Sun dimming its rays
Doing weird things to my brain
While fall leaves and pour rain
Mind stuck on the what-ifs
Hope is none of my beliefs
Will the long nights spare me?
Will the dark thoughts soften?
Or am I bound to foresee,
Those waves doomed to happen?

Autumn settles quietly,
Painting the world in gold,
While rain falls through the silence,
And thoughts begin to unfold.
The leaves don't ask where they are going,
They simply let themselves fall,
Perhaps we could learn from autumn,
That letting go isn't losing it all.
So when the evenings grow longer,
And the skies become grey,
I'll meet the rain between my thoughts,
And let tomorrow find its way.
For even beneath the autumn clouds,
When everything feels uncertain,
There may still be something growing,
Quietly beneath the surface.
