Tired of lying and smiling

...See more This past week, I've been getting really tired of lying and saying I'm fine when I'm not. I wish I could just scream out and tell people what's really happening. I'm tired of people touching my hands and asking me why they're so cold, and i'm tired of lying and saying they've always been like that. I really hate that these food thoughts are so loud in my head that I can't concentrate on anything else, but I still sit there quietly smiling and nodding. I really just don't feel like smiling anymore honestly.

Feeling lost and out of control with ED

...See more Today I found myself asking "why?". Why do I put myself through this, and why can't I stop? I always told myself that I would stop my habits at a certain weight, but it's become clear that I can't stop anymore. I'm frusterated because I wish I were stronger and that I could ignore everything going on in my head. I wish that I could move on no matter how much I hate what I see in the mirror. I'm just too afraid. I can't handle putting on any weight.

...See more Each day I feel like I function a little bit worse than the day before and I'm less and less in control. I guess I'm feeling stuck in my own thoughts and I can't pull myself back. I've never been able to tell the truth to anyone about my eating habits. I always manage to convince myself that there's nothing wrong with me no matter how bad things really are. Part of me knows that I need to get help before things get any worse, but I can't make myself act on it.
