...See more Hello all. I'm 27. Life has been a rollercoaster to say the least. I've been diagnosed with so many different things over the years and doctors have tried for so long to figure out exactly what is going on with me. But this week I went inpatient (for probably like the 12th time in my life) I've also always done my own "research" to try to figure out what the heck was going on with me. And most of the previous diagnoses just weren't making much sense. Ironically, BPD was something I just never looked into, simply for the fact that my immediate thought was always "Eh. Probably don't have that." Well, I went in this time, and they "provisionally" diagnosed me with BPD. They didn't really explain it to me or anything. So I got home and read into it myself, and it slapped me in the face. It makes so much sense that they would diagnose me with it, because I experienced all 9 of the characteristics of the disorder. Just crazy how things work out. It's been pretty overwhelming, but at the same time relieving to finally understand what's been going on with me. I'm glad that there's a support group for it on here. Thanks for reading my boring post. Lol

...See more So I've never really addressed this. But I am on my phone for seemingly like 95% of the time. I've spent a long time just being such a toxic person on social media and the internet in general. To the point where I get paranoid that people are going to be out to get me because of it. I feel like this has to qualify as some sort of internet addiction. I hope I'm not the only person who has this type of paranoia and everything as well. Thanks for listening.

...See more So I fell off of the wagon pretty hard this past week. Continually had multiple beers daily. I feel like it's been a mixture of stress and anxiety about my workplace, because my employer and I had a falling out. But I stopped today, and I'm definitely feeling the withdrawals and severe anxiety that is so familiar with it. I'm starting my new job on Monday. (New job pays more and is full time. And my friend is the manager. So that's nice.) It just gets difficult to not go back to the alcohol. And then looking back at all of the stupid stuff I've done when I was drinking and worrying that it will somehow catch up with me, whether it's an angry person for how I behaved towards them, or some of the other reckless behavior I've engaged in. I have trouble not "Seeing the hope" or being very positive without the alcohol. Which I know is not the answer. I guess I'm just trying to believe that things are actually going to be okay anxiety wise, and that, given that I haven't drank today and won't tomorrow, that I'll be fine and not too anxious or freaked out for work. I did start naltrexone today, which I've been putting off. I'm hoping it can help me out. I apologize for the long post. If you made it this far reading, thank you for your time.
