...See more My spouse and I are trying to get back together after a month-long affair he had. He feels genuine and like he is trying to make us work, but I can't get over the matter. We have good days, but I feel heartbroken and betrayed most days. Knowing he was so close to someone else and threw what we had away easily. All the hurtful things he said still ring in my ears. He apologized and begged me to let it go. That he chose me over here. To move on, but how? How can you just shut it off? The jealousy and the pain of what happens after an affair?
