...See more Nothing about this is a fact, it's my raw opinion on myself. For the thought to be coherent and not confusing i'll be speaking with the voice of my mind, with my feelings and my body being a total separate entity. For a guy who doesn't discriminate on anyone with his criticism and cynism, i've been strangely nice to myself, thing that surprised me until i overthought about it, and now we're back to normal programming, now i can't afford to be nice to myself, things had to change sooner or later, the tools used became second priority. I can't believe how lazy i've gotten lazely, i can't do anything without doomscrolling, the pinnacle of human mind rot, and that's not even the biggest issue, the biggest issue is that i'm not doing anything about it, sitting there like a total moron just going at it knowing perfectly fine and repeating it to myself constantly that i was a damn useless vessel if i couldn't let go of something like that. I can't believe how f*cking much of a failure i'm becoming, how much of a failure i'm now, i really have to start listing the stuff i'm bad at? I won't because i know this has a character limit somewhere, but it's enough to condemn myself to oblivion and beyond, i've become what i hated most, i'm mediocre, things aren't going horrible, but they tend to go that way, and i hate it more that way than actually being miserable, but i just WON'T listen to myself, i'm deaf to my own words. Man i just wish, really really damn wish things actually went good for once in my life, i have the predisposition, i have the will to do good stuff, i have the tools to do it right, but this damn useless body won't get his stuff right, i hate everything about it, how easily it gives up, how much of limiting it can be, how much it fears, how much it cares about the opinion of others. Looking at the mirror everyday? I just get a reminder on how this isn't probably the day where stuff gets better, they say you're your biggest enemy, damn this as*hole has some really really personal beef with me, but i'm stuck with it, what can i do? Keep complaining all my life? Maybe i'll do, it's what i do best, and use that to also (questionably) guide people in a good path even if they end up hating me, i wouldn't blame them, i do as well.

...See more Yet another late night thought, i'm getting used to this kind of involuntary meditation forced by the sleep deprivation and the seeking of answers in my brain. Now i was wondering, what if the problem in a lot of our stuff is actually something we wouldn't consider a problem in the first place? I was thinking a bit and, i could get out of this slump if i wanted to, i could get my life in order if i wanted to, with the right tools, with the right path, with the right focus, and the right moments, it IS possible to fix everything, adapt those circumstances to any of YOUR problems and they're fixed in some time, life is like that, if you know how to do everything, and you're willing to, you're gonna get your stuff right. And now, maybe that IS the problem, when we feel overwhelmed, when we feel depressed, solutions are not the first thing that comes in our minds, we want relief over having all of the mess solved, a relief that only the bad cycle can provide. So in essence, and to not tangle this idea up, i can (and you can) do better, but is that what i really want? isn't life just too boring when everything goes straightforward? is the suffering even desirable and, does the solution in front of us gives us even more grief than the problem itself? that's something to think of for sure.

...See more I've kept having a lot of these lately, now wandering in my mind there is a lot of challenging, to common beliefs, or even common sense, stuff that you think about them, and they make sense, but they only do because someone else made sense that they made sense, and it has become a common sense. Specially, there is a lot of focus in thinking about the small steps in life, because "Rome wasn't built in one day", well, Rome wasn't, but other things could have been built in one day? I honestly think Life isn't worth living in all small steps, sometimes there is long steps, or hops, or huge leaps of faith, or straight up an entire skyscraper fall, or just no movement at all, consistency is good, but it's not realistic, because when you most want to make sense of a routine, the more chaotic it gets, not by chance or luck, because i think life itself gives us signal to not live today exactly the same as yesterday.

...See more Some things seem really impossible, but that's what make them possible for one, because on insight, reaching impossible heights seem charmful enough to try and reach it, and because it is a vision we can see reaching, it becomes easy, like taking for granted we are gonna reach impossible things like they are nothing, and we even have tools to make it that we also created out of attempts of reachin the impossible: Consistency? Discipline? Hard work? Talent? Name it yourself, we humans are designed to keep going higher, and higher, take the impossible for granted, and like Icarus, reaching too far away and being burned by the sun, maybe... consider landing for a bit and realize if your goals are even possible? and how will you reach them? that's something to think for sure, the inertia of the growing path can make us forget simple obstacles that can really be a big trip in the future.

...See more Warning: This WILL be critical and probably a hard hit for some people, but it's something that it's worth an also critical reading, maybe it'll serve to someone. I honestly don't know what's gotten into me, but scrolling through cups for a while now and seeing the different posts and replies, and alongside them, the different stances and points of views of every person, i thought of something that maybe, or maybe not is worth sharing: Are you what you believe? I ask this thinking already in the most radical stances one could have, on religion, on life, on politics, everything, most people will defend a stance, it's natural, it's the base of society and humans as social beings, but i think it becomes a problem in certain situations. When you are sharing your point of view, the ideal is you having in mind that you're not only speaking, you're hearing, and you're seeing, on a table with a handful of visions, you don't only give, you receive, the mistake is believing that: * Only you have the final word * You can't learn anything from others * Any other POV asides from you is wrong Those three points are really simplified versions of what i believe are killing entirely rich experiences and cultural exchanges, the issue here is not being able to mix yourself with what other thinks, so the next time you're sharing with others, make it a fair exchange, give, but be able to receive without freaking out, not only you exist in this world yk? Maybe hear one thing or two before getting angry for your points being disproven.

...See more I have been thinking about myself, i do a lot, but this time, it was something that stuck with me for a while, it was like realizing my inner environment, and i think i may have some internal me stuff that i don't quite like, not like habits or qualities, something much deeper into my roots that i'm not comfortable with, i realize that may be the reason i'm so rough with myself, but it could also be the possibility that i'm just tired of overthinking and my mind just made a goofy ahh solution to it, either ways, there is a clear thing, it seems as is i'm fated to argue with myself for a lot of stuff, it's an usual thing, but is it okay? i may find the answer in more nights of overthinking, or maybe never, who knows

Needing rough advice

...See more I'll go straight to the point, i'm recently starting a major in psychology at a really prestigious university, as good as that can sound, i honestly have no idea how i got here in the first place, i barely clutched out the admission exam and all my studies in general. I'll be honest with myself and all of you, i'm not the smartest guy in the entire world, studying for me is more of a nuisance than something easy or interesting, and i'm also really really rough at myself when things don't go good, not the profile of someone who will indeed graduate from this, and i'm aware of it, then why am i still in here in the first place? Well, it's just normal to start a major right after finishing high school to not get thrown raw into adult life and underpaid and miserable jobs. Therefore, i'm just studying without any motivation, the few weeks i was in here tell me that i don't truly like what i'm studying, the classes just feel boring, i've been skipping a lot of them from waking up downed and not wanting to go in the first place, exams are really close and i know nothing about anything, i really feel i won't be able to wrap this up. However, i can't just simply drop out like it's nothing, sure, i lost all of my scholarships because of the high standards and exigence of the university, but my family just won't give up on it and they keep paying a lot of money in different stuff, how do i even tell them that i don't like this major/life and would want to drop out without having terrible consequences in a lot of aspects in our life? i'm walking on thin ice, if i choose myself, i'll bring bad moments for my family, and they'll probably end up hating me, if i choose to keep going, at one point i'll just collapse. My mind is fogged, i can't really know what to do, so i'm asking for your advice on the matter if you have any, even the most life-destroyer things you can say can be useful, because this is the moment they'll truly make impact, if you took the time to read this, even a "i don't know" will also help to consider my options, that's all i think.
