A hidden problem
Yet another late night thought, i'm getting used to this kind of involuntary meditation forced by the sleep deprivation and the seeking of answers in my brain.
Now i was wondering, what if the problem in a lot of our stuff is actually something we wouldn't consider a problem in the first place?
I was thinking a bit and, i could get out of this slump if i wanted to, i could get my life in order if i wanted to, with the right tools, with the right path, with the right focus, and the right moments, it IS possible to fix everything, adapt those circumstances to any of YOUR problems and they're fixed in some time, life is like that, if you know how to do everything, and you're willing to, you're gonna get your stuff right.
And now, maybe that IS the problem, when we feel overwhelmed, when we feel depressed, solutions are not the first thing that comes in our minds, we want relief over having all of the mess solved, a relief that only the bad cycle can provide.
So in essence, and to not tangle this idea up, i can (and you can) do better, but is that what i really want? isn't life just too boring when everything goes straightforward? is the suffering even desirable and, does the solution in front of us gives us even more grief than the problem itself? that's something to think of for sure.
@SaviSSS
it is a matter of perspective. Some like the chaos of when things do not go smoothly. some do not do things to smooth out their life perhaps fear of what happens after they tackle whatever problem they are dealing with.
Maybe you are correct that some assume if things go smooth and straightforward it would be boring. I have had a fairly boring slow and steady movement, but it was never without challenges. some people are better at facing challenges than others.
I really get your ideas. what I want is not solution. Fixing problem by tools or methods is much more difficult than the problem itself. For example, I am now suffering because of relationship with my family in law, and my husband is suggesting not seeing them as a solution. But thinking about not seeing them made me more depressed after all. Solution doesn’t help me to overcome this problem. I think the best thing is praying and waiting. Things can be changed in the future even though today or past situation seem very though and painful. I need I want my time and set boundary until I feel secured from hurt feeling. I don’t know when, so I don’t want to set the due day or time.
That’s something to be confused more about 😄 I’m kidding.
Well said.
Yes I always wanted relief than solutions. I know solutions will never present themselves unless I looked for them. Suffering is surprisingly desirable, believing its all we know of. Its worth thinking but worth inspiring more. You have a way of thinking. Very insightful.
