...See more Hey all. I got my diagnosis for anxiety and ptsd about two weeks ago. I'm still having quite a hard time accepting it and understanding what it all means. Can someone offer some words of encouragement? Tell me it will be alright, that you can live with it? That it will get better?

...See more Sometimes I get so tired from my triggers. I trust my boyfriend, completely, but when he is snoring next to me.. oh my.. can I be scared of that. It's completely silly, my PTSD is not even related to snoring in any way. But my breath stops every time he makes a noise. And ear plugs are not an option, because then I get very scared because I won't notice it if a situation turns dangerous. Thankfully therapy will start soon. Does anyone have advice on how to cope with this?

...See more Hi all! I got my anxiety and PTSD diagnosis last week and they are going to give me EMDR and intensive therapy soon (three days a week). Can anyone maybe share some experiences, and negative side effects you experiences, about EMDR? Would help to get my nerves down a bit.
