Welcome
Hello and welcome. I am SoulThought, and I am a Verified Listener and an AL4-level listener. I am passionate about providing support to individuals who are experiencing challenges in their lives. I also love offering peer support and am a Peer Support Professional and Mental Health Coach. My personal and shared experiences enable me to achieve a deeper level of empathy and understanding.
I have served in different mental health/peer support roles as a volunteer for years. Volunteering is a significant part of my life and plays a key role in my own healing and recovery. I currently have a few active volunteer positions outside of 7 Cups. I am an active and dedicated Hospice Doula (hospice volunteer), a peer support group host on an amazing peer support site, and a volunteer with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). I also enjoy volunteering through my church.
Aside from the college degree I am earning, I am a serious student of psychoanalysis. I adhere to a blend of Freudian/neo-Freudian as well as Jungian theories. Psychoanalysis makes sense out of the world around me as well as myself. I view most things from a psychoanalytic perspective, which works well since psychoanalysis is similar to both philosophy and theology in the sense that it can be applied to nearly everything.
Everyone is welcome to reach out to me without exception. You deserve to be heard and know that all of your feelings are valid. This is a confidential and safe space open to anyone seeking support. My door is always open.
Peace be with you.
