Overcoming Hopelessness

...See more It's getting hard lately to not be fearful and feel hopeless toward the future that our country (the United States) seems to be headed. I have seen a few people that were formerly more neutral or supportive of Trump and MAGA finally see it for what is now, which is a bit encouraging. However, unfortunately there are so many more that are still defending and cheering on. Demonizing immigrants, legal or not, trans people, and people of other faiths and races in general...It's so disheartening. The worst of it right now, for me, is that I don't even feel safe, emotionally/socially, to discuss it at home currently. My FIL watches Fox News every day, and has some views that are not great. I generally just stay quiet when his family discusses political things. But more disappointing is that even my husband seems to lean a bit toward the MAGA end, and it scares me. Some comments that he has made online or things he has said, while not full on bigoted, they are still concerning. I didn't think he was someone that would support Trump and what his administration are doing and plan to do or that he would lean at all toward their hateful rhetoric and lies. I'm scared sometimes because it feels like I married someone different than who I thought. I love him so much and I believe that he loves me. Anymore, I just try to avoid any topics of conversation that are political because I don't want to argue or hear more from him that I can't unhear. 𥺠It's so hurtful because I thought that I really knew him before we got married. I came out to him as bisexual and everything. That was really hard for me, but he was pretty supportive and not negative about that.

libido issues

...See more I know it's common that partners might not have the exact same libido. That said, my husband and I are becomingvery mismatched. We haven't been arguing too much, as to cause a disconnection. We still flirt a lot, and he assures me that there's nothing wrong when we would have sex and that he is still attracted to me. But it still hurts each time that I am in the mood and he isn't. I am trying so hard to be patient, and I don't pressure him, or try to make him feel bad about it. I know that sex isn't everything, but it is unfortunatelya very important part of intimacy for me. He says he just doesn't feel in like it very often. It's been over a month now since we have had intercourse, and we have only been married for about 6 months. Has anyone dealt with this successfully on either end? He mentioned bringing it up to his doctor. Has anyone taken medication that helped , like maybe testosterone or something else, but didn'thave too many undesirable side effects?

Inexperienced Bi girl panic

...See more Is it wrong that I was thinking about wanting to visit a gentleman's club for a Bachelorette party? I'm not going to because I asked my fiancé if he would be okay with it, and he said it would make him uneasy. I feel bad about it now. Is it bad that I was thinking that if I went, then maybe it might help me confirm if I'm really bi? I mean, I've never been with a girl or anything, and I'm never going to after we get married. I'm not trying to cheat or anything I only want to be with him, but idk somehow I thought it would help. Was I being dumb? He asked me why I would want to, and I was too embarrassed to explain it to him. 😬 I just said idk, I thought it might be fun as an experience. Because I was afraid he would take what I was thinking wrong and worry that I want to leave him to be with a girl or something.
