...See more After my mom divorced her husband who isn't my father she had to move into a one bedroom apartment because her took her house. She has multiple sclerosis and has fallen outside several times to where she's been left with bruises. Although she heals eventually it's unfortunate because her neighbors don't even attempt to offer any assistance. She literally just lays on the cold or hot pavement after falling and my sister has to drive like 25 minutes to help her. No one calls the ambulance or anything. No hospitality at all. Just a bunch of selfish people chain smoking all day in their homes. What a world we live in....

...See more I hand been building and replacing parts on my rig since December 2024. Some might remember me posting my first build. Well here I am now. I had to go to the ER for achalasia. Came home that morning. They had to do. Myotomy to remove the foreign object and of course stretch the esophagus open because achalasia causes your LES to tighten I over time. My hand has come a long way but man it's like so computer elf comes into my YouTube feed and tells me about some really good parts. That sillouette with the red glow is a PC I built for myself. Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core 24 Threads Thermalright Warframe AIO MSI Mag B550 Max Wifi Klevv DDR4 3200 16GB 2.5GB Storage Lexar Sapphire 9070 XT Nitro Keiders Case/Walnut Trimming Glad I was rushing to get parts last year. Sometimes you just know when it's gonna shift.

...See more I know that It may have been better to post in the addiction thread but given the nature of the topic I thought this would also suit. I've been drilling myself on recovery for the past five years. Since 2016 actually. I've learned a lot. I even reflected on if I learned from my mistakes and now I'm taking steps on applying it. So here goes... Addictive habits are a no because: 1. It affects my spirit 2. It manipulates my mind 3. It associates me with a unhealthy social circle 4. It puts me in a bad mood 5. It affects my mental health I'm currently doing well. I was talking to my mom the other day and I told her that I've been reading my scriptures everyday since March of 2025. I've learned that negative thoughts and anything that doesn't edify me isn't of God. I get a little scared to post on here sometimes because at one point it was like as soon as I post good news on here about my progress it got detailed. I feel like I've crossed over into a healthier state of mind but it's in that fresh stage. Generally feeling happily ever after Feeling protected Feeling heard Feeling understood I'm reaching out because I've been trapped in conversations talking about negative stuff with people close to me because that seems like the only way to connect with them. I'm not actually unhappy but they are. Not to mention I'm tired of talking to A.I. Any advice is welcomed.

...See more I was obsessed with porn for a long time, I started at like 7 or 8 from force. It's taken me a long time to get to this point but the spark in that relationship has died. The thrill is gone. I've seen all I could I see. There aren't any surprises anymore...it's a hard truth but a liberating reality but thankfully I survived the madness. I'm just learning this as well that you don't have to fight a ghost... I kept searching for a grand finale to that arc of my life but it came very incupicuously...but I know the more consistent I am with moving on the the thrill of that chapter ending will override the grasp that obsession had.

...See more I tried to make my life into something. One hurdle after the next. It gets tiring. Exhausted, frustrated, fed up. I feel unheard and it's life if I tell how I really feel no one cares. It just gets swept under the rug like whatever. They say your here on earth to experience joy. You experience the whole spectrum so I guess it's all just inevitable.
