...See more I recently had a lot to deal with and I pushed through. I am continuing trying to be positive and move forward but I am honestly struggling. I feel a bit depressed the last days and I hurt emotionnally. I am trying to rest and distract myself but it doesn't seem to pass. How do you learn patience with emotionnal distress?

...See more Just started a new position at my company, didn't sleep much. Spent 2 days in a plane without a sleep and I split up with my long term boyfriend recently. I was the mature one and sent him a message after sometime of break. Didn't received a response. That hurts. [http://response.my] My parents are getting a divorce, so happy I left the home so I am not impacted that much. I am in pain but holding on. I feel like I should be on my knees but managing everything and I am even genuinly happy half of the time. Am I detaching and it will hit later or have I grew strong from my past and everything will be ok? I know it will eventually, just hard to navigate on the moment. I feel deeply things. I am trying so hard to be collected. I bit myself up when I get emotional Thanks for letting me write these. I feel not alone!

Just broke up, in shock but hopeful for my future
Relationship Stress / by bubbleSummer9800

...See more I just broke up yesterday with my bf of a couple of years. We were in love but we were doing long distance. It was planned to be a lot of year apart, except if we married and I moved to his country. He is young and not ready. I always found he was not solid but the next step. I knew deep down I was stuck in fulfilling my dreams and in my pain if I stayed. I couldn't stay in the black hole forever. Still it hurts and I am starting a new job monday. I feel guilty to have done that to myself this very moment but I couldn't handle the emotional pain. I feel relieved on some level and I think I started processing the unavoidable breakup months ago already. It is a good decision but that's an added stress and pain to a new transition (city, job, friends). Would love some thoughts 😊
