breakdown from my slow eater brother

...See more yeah, i'm still not done with this. my brother is a slow SLOW eater. as in simple meals would take him 3 hrs. is anyone else dealing with this too right now? it's not like he can't eat at a normal pace some times. just 3 days ago, he downed a bread in under 1 hr. but in some cases where he's slow, it'd take him 3 hrs. i don't get it truly. i packed him ham and cheese sandwich for school since that's what he's been requesting all week. you know the ending? he took 1 bite of if at school and finished the rest at home in 3 hours. he's saying that he can't control it whatever. and while i do not ignore his feelings, i can't help but genuinely wonder why??? and how??? it's just so frustrating because on "slow days", a simple bread would take him 3 hrs. but if it was on a "good day", it'd take him 45 mins. i just want to understand what goes on his head. everyone around him eats fast, so his environment shouldn't have been the one affecting this?? even his friends questioned why he was this slow. i am also just super worried for tomorrow because his breakfast will be a burger sandwich. and since today didn't go well, yeah i'm expecting the worst. i just need calmness but i can't take this anymore.

...See more all these pent up frustrations and anxiety... i've shared how my brother is a slow eater and all this. since he's admitted to have been throwing away his food ever since school started in june, i've never really known how he's actually like when it comes to eating his packed snacks and lunches. normal schedule of his school started again just yesterday. i told him to always record himself when eating cause i don't trust a word that he says (i went into detail about this in my first post). yesterday, i noticed he spent 2 hrs on lunch. thankfully, they had 2 breaks that consisted of 1 hour. but normally, like today, they have only 30 mins of recess for snacks and 1 hr for lunch. it's breakfast. let me tell you, he started eating at 4:10 am. it's already 5:45 and he's not even half done. everything he eats is also decided by him so i don't understand this?? the school service/bus comes in 15 mins and i just told him to finish it on the ride there (20 mins ride) and when he arrives, before classes. cause man he also has a recess and lunch and i just don't know how to handle this anymore. i'm just so pent up and stressed by this. a single move or word i do or say, he'd throw up for no reason and just waste the time spent on eating that food. i mean really??? 2 hours on a simple sandwich?? 3 hours on 2 small chickens and 2 spoons of rice??? like i said, he's not like this at all times so it's not a sickness or anything. i don't even pressure him. i told him it's okay to be slow cause honestly, i'm mentally drained from all of this. i just don't know how to handle this situation anymore. yes, i told my parents about all the throwing away his food and him being slow — which they reasoned he should lessen his meals (when it is being lessened already to the point where he only has 4 spoons of everything combined). not working at all. i cannot. my gosh the deep stress i feel right now.

...See more i recently moved to a new university and today's our first day of classes, and all we did was an orientation. i badly wanted to talk to my block/classmates so bad but i just couldnt. my close friend from my past school (who also moved into this university) was just so jolly; i saw her *** stories and she was all about having fun. she even was able to eat out with her classmates. ugh i want to be close to my classmates so bad. i did try and chat or communicate with them but i still feel like an outcast. idk how ppl like my friend manage to get close to a group of ppl immediately. i don't want to become a loner like how i was during my first year in highschool 😪

...See more my brother has a history of throwing away his food. sounds simple or something thats not too deep, right? well no. it all started in april. i'd give him breakfast and a few snacks in bed. you see, he's a very slow eater. and i when i say slow, i mean VERY SLOW; it takes him 2 hours on 1 simple bread/sandwich. and no, it's not a mental problem or whatever; he could down that same sandwich within 30 minutes in another random day. so yeah i became sick of waiting for him to finish his meals in the bedroom, so i started giving him a time limit — about 2-3 hours before going downstairs. he would then go down minutes before the given time limit, giving me a thumbs up each time and tellinf me he's done. guess what? all of that was a lie. A MONTH STRAIGHT he's been lying straight to my face. in the middle of may, i found it. i found a whole stash of food thrown away under our bed. it took about 5 trash bags to really empty everything — all weighing 8kg+. gosh. if only someone else saw my breakdown that time. but whatever, i gave him another chance, as long as he never threw away his food again. then, his school year started. of course i still had doubts. i kept on reminding and warning him to not throw away his food; it's better to have come home with the food i packed him rather than throwing it away. so after 3 weeks, i decided to ask him what were inside his sandwich (ham, egg, cheese, mayo). ham, cheese, and some "white sauce", he replied. i asked him whether he even tasted a hint of eggs or what. after a few minutes, he finally did admit that he threw away the eggs. actually, i found it reasonable as he excused that it tasted different. i didn't even get mad at him: instead, i even thanked him for telling me the truth. still, i was not at ease; i created a contract with him the following morning. it consisted of our promises to each other and some rules. basically, the main point written was that there'd be NO problem, as in ZERO punishment, yelling, whatsover if he threw away his food AS LONG AS he tells me the truth. he even promised me in the contract that he'll never throw away his food. well guess what. fast forward to today. classes were suspended. any way, i left him his dinner: pork and tofu. i even saw him take a bite of the tofu. asked him, how was the tofu? he had the nerve to reply it tasted good. so i left the house and went back home after 2 hours. of course i was in doubt. so i checked the trash bag. and there it was. tofu and some bits of rice and pork. what even was more maddening was that he had the nerve to try and hid ethe tofu inside an empty bag of chips. so i gave him a chance. did you finish your tofu? yes. you didn't throw away your food? no. i was damn sick of being lied to STRAIGHT TO MY FACE. i confronted his ***. i gave him a chance to confess everything cause i knew damn well that wasn't the only thing he's thrown away. it was everything all at once. he mentioned about 10 sandwiches that he's thrown away even after the contract. and what *** me off more was a damn plain peanut butter sandwich. he liked pb sandwiches. i talked to this about my parents and they just told me that he's a growing child and i should just LET??HIM??BE?? gosh i even contacted a local organisation and the guidance office from my past school. no help given 🤷‍♀️ idk what to do at this point. he's just wasting his food and all. "ask him what he wants" thats the thing. i've been packing him everything he wants and everything ended up in the trash. i can't not pack him food, he wouldn't eat at all. his brain just revolves around YouTube and all. please i need your help. this has been giving me a huge chunk of stress.
