...See more Hi. A few months ago I finally broke up with my bf of almost 3 years. Long story short, i broke up with him because he insulted my family and he didnt change his behavior despite communicating to him multiple times about how i felt. Anyways, i felt like i was the "winner" compared to my ex because i didnt lose him, he lost me. I did my best to love him with pure and genuine intentions. I wanted to have a huge glow up session where im in the best shape and best version of myself. However, sometimes i find myself letting myself go both physically and mentally. I notice myself feeling entittled and arrogant, I'll either have only 1 meal a day or choose an unhealthy diet. I also stop working out almost completely now, making up excuses that I'm tired from work or that i have too many appointments today so i dont have time for it. I dont know why I'm being like this.

...See more My partner (22M) and I (22F) patched back together after a recent breakup. The breakup was due to him not being respectful to my family (he made fun of my parents financial decisions and he believed that people are poor due to their bad financial choices. He never made those comments to my parents but to my face). Long story short, we patched back after we were broken up for 2 weeks (to be honest it was more of like a "break" instead of a breakup) but i can't deny that i still feel some resentment towards him. When we patched back we both agreed to continue fighting for this relationship but there's a small part of me that is like detached. Im wondering if i should continue fighting but i kept thinking if i should leave him. Am i self sabotaging my relationship? Should i keep fighting?

...See more My partner has sort of a high ego. He tends to make jokes about less fortunate people. He believes that they are broke because of their poor financial decisions. Whenever he sleeps over at my place he would nitpick on my house and sometimes laugh at my parent's financial decision. I've told him how i felt about his "jokes" and instead of stopping completely, he would still think of the joke but say he'll choose to keep quiet because he doesnt want to sleep on the couch. A few days ago, i had the intention of breaking up with him because he doesnt respect my family. However, in the end we didnt break up. He begged and said he would change. He asked what could he do to have another chance and i told him that he needed to apologise to my family for the things he said. My parents were neutral about the whole situation. My dad believes that everyone has the right to their own opinion and my mum believes that relationships are all about forgiving. However, they both said that they felt sad to see their daughter hurt and crying over this. They adviced my partner to be more sensitive (we're the same age, just over 20yo). After patching back, i started to question if not breaking up was the right decision. I do kind of hate myself for how easily i gave in. My partner wants everything to go back to the way it normally is but i told him that i cant see our relationship to be the same as it used to. Am i wrong for questioning my decision? Does the fact that me adding this thread indicates that i do actually want to break up?
