Looking for advice
Relationship Stress / by overEmpathetic613

...See more My partner of two and a half years is very sensitive to making plans, is often lonely when we’re apart, and gets upset when I forget to tell them about plans I’ve made. We’ve been long distance for the majority of our relationship, and we’re planning to move in together over the summer. Sometimes when I try to make plans with them and it doesn’t work out exactly how they think it will, they shut down and that makes it hard for me to be able to figure out how they feel or even finish making the plans. I know they’re aware of this sensitivity, and they sometimes apologise for their behaviour. Is there anything I can do to help them get more comfortable with change, or is this anxiety about plan making something they have to figure out on their own?

...See more I’ve been having trouble for about 8 years, usually on and off, when it comes to eating. I don’t care about my weight at all usually, but I find myself being unable to force myself to eat even if I’m physically hungry. I’ve never talked to a professional because I’m worried I’ll be shut down. I just don’t like to eat sometimes, especially if I’m feeling anxious or depressed, and I’ll go through lengths to avoid it if I can, usually not on purpose but sometimes even if I know I should eat I can’t. Does this count as an eating disorder? How can I develop good habits if I physically can’t force myself to eat sometimes?

...See more I keep feeling terrible whenever I make plans bc my partner seems sad. They never discourage me from making them I just feel bad that I know they’re probably sad about me having fun without them and missing me. Am I in the wrong? How do I make them feel special while maintaining a social life?
