...See more Hello I’m a 17 year guy on his junior year in high school, long story short i don’t have a lot of friends and struggle a lot socially thanks to my insecurities, I was all alone for my last middle school year, one I started high school I was determined to try to change things, I tried better at socializing and it sort of worked, I met these girls N & A , they were really fun to be around and had a lot of fun during the first hs year, we weren’t that close tho, since we never really spoke or did anything outside of school, and sometimes I felt excluded in some type of way because well I’m a boy and they’re girls, but I was satisfied because I went from having no one talk and no one to sit with during lunch, to have them, but something happened recently that changed things, basically I recently started my junior year and there is this girl J that’s really nice joyful and funny, she’s closer friends with the N and A and we sometimes spoke during our sophomore year but it wasn’t really that much, point is the first few days I started to get closer to J because we had 2 classes and lunch together, anyways a few days ago, me, J, N, and 2 other girls were eating lunch, suddenly J starts talking about things a lil bit explicit she and her bf did, one of the girls joined in her convo and well they started talking about experiences poses yk what im talking about all that stuff, so I wasn’t really uncomfortable with anything they said because it’s their life let them be and it’s really no my problem yk, but I did find it oddly random but in a funny way, that same day on my last period which I have with A I talked to another girl who has nothing to do with J or the other girl, about the convo during lunch and she was shocked (obviously), I didn’t think I was doing anything bad I wasn’t thinking, I just thought it’d be a funny thing to tell, the next day I found out A told J that I told that one girl, so J, N, and the other girl from the convo confronted me during lunch, J started talking about how she was feeling comfortable saying that sort of stuff around me because she thought she could do it, and I also tell them stuff too, I’m basically being a hypocrite, what really broke me when was she said that she was starting to like me (as friend ofc) but then I go and do this, I felt horrible, again I didn’t realize what I was actually doing, hearing that someone actually was starting to like me for a chance it felt good because again I don’t have friends whatsoever, and well knowing that I ruined that made me feel bad, we weren’t really that close, but I enjoyed her company and I was looking forward to maybe become closer one day, the discussion ended with her threatening me that if she hears her name around again her an I are gonna have a problem, an hour after school ended I sent her an apology text, and tell her how I felt and she responded with this (it’s translated cuz it was in Spanish) “Thank you for apologizing. I really appreciate it, but what you did upset/hurt me, and I don't know if I feel comfortable being as close to you as I was before. But that doesn't mean I'm going to make Nuria or the others stay away from you or stop us from eating with you at the cafeteria!” this was bittersweet to me because ok yes I apologized and that’s a good thing but things won’t go back the way they were, I suck at socializing and that screwed me over, I should’ve known better I really hope one day I can fully understand how to act around people specially kids my age anyways, today, J never talked to me and neither did N, A did talk to me with was reassuring really, but it still felt like something was missing, so anyone, preferably girls, is there anything I can do to make this situation better I really like them and I don’t wanna lose them despite it not being that deep, I don’t have anyone else at school. ...See more Hi, i previously talked about my life story and explaining my whole situation (if you wanna know it, *** it’d be nice to talk it privately) anyways, I just feel useless I’m a 17 year old male who as for now doesn’t do anything else other than stay in his house all day gaming, at the begging of the summer I had a job, I wanted to quit it and find a new one because the pay was just mediocre and they wouldn’t give me more hours, I then started working at a store, problem was it was only temporarily for the 4th of July and all that, when I stopped working on the 6th I started feeling so useless, I’ve been feeling this way for a long time but if it gets more noticeable during summer because I have NOTHING to do, I have 1300 on my bank account rn and even tho that’s a lot, I have to help my mom pay stuff every month so I just can’t chill as the money disappears, not doing anything productive for so long just makes me feel like a waste of oxygen, specially when I KNOW I have to work out because I’m too skinny and I need to be different so maybe I could have better chances at social situations (not like couple wise, just like get more accepted and not being made fun of over my skinniness) if I can’t do all the different types of summer activities teens my age do because I have no friends, like go to pools, parties, sleepovers etc, I should at least do something productive. But my useless *** can’t even do that…

I just don’t wanna live, I wanna enjoy it too

...See more Hello (I’m new to this app and don’t really know if this the right spot for me to say all this but I wanted to share my thoughts) I’m unknown/Takis however you wanna call me and for a long time I’ve been feeling alone and like my life is just monotonous, long story short I migrated from Venezuela to here, USA when I was about 12 with my mom, back I honestly didn’t give it too much thought about anything, I just thought it be kinda cool, but in reality I’ve been alone for 5 years, since I was a kid I started being insecure, because people wouldn’t stop pointing out my ears and hair, mostly my ears, I entered high school during 7th grade, I barely knew any English so I hanged out with other Hispanics/latinos, I then developed another big insecurity besides my ears, my body, I’m too skinny, I’m one of those people who stands up straight and you can see them ribs, I then finished 7th grade (also through 7th grade I developed feelings for men this might be important later) after finished 7th grade my mom told me we were moving to Georgia, I was upset, I had good friends where I lived, and leaving all that behind was just hard, we ended up moving to Georgia, I started 8th grade, and was so in denial I didn’t even bother to make friends be social and all that kind of stuff, because I had the mentality that I could manage to convince my mom to go back, during THE WHOLE 8th grade year I wore a hoodie and always had my hood on, to cover my ears, ofc there were sometimes I couldn’t put it on and it upset me because I really didn’t like not having it, anyways, for the 1st 3 months of 8th grade I was kinda mean with any kid that approached me and tried to talk to me, again I didn’t even try to do anything at all, after those 3 months I realized that was it, I was not going back and I was gonna stay here in Georgia, my insecurities, shyness overall, and the fact It seemed to be very difficult to fit in caused me to be completely alone during 8th grade, even eating in the cafeteria scared me, so I’d always go eat alone with a teacher, and again I have no family, everyone is in Venezuela besides my mom, so I just was alone, after finishing middle school I commuted to change and try to be more social and have actual friends and to not use the same hoodie everyday, I made some progress, I had some girls to talk to and sit with during lunch and it felt good to not be that alone like I was in middle school, I only talked to a couple of girls, idk how to explain but things with guys were complicated, I feel like they were just too much and it’s not like that’s a bad thing but I just couldn’t match their energy thanks to my shyness or maybe because I’m gay, but I still had a problem, the connection with these girls wasn’t really that strong, they are the typical friends you only talk with in school but outside of it, not a word, I still felt kinda alone and nothing has really changed since then, I don’t go out to do anything, I’m 17 and haven’t gone to an actual party, my birthdays have been dry, literally just my mom and that’s it and ofc it’s not a Party because who’s gonna come? I wanna go out with people and have fun at party’s and pools, I wanna have a sleepover, I wanna have my first kiss (preferably with a black guy 😅) I wanna have people to talk to outside of school, all my fun is based on gaming I’m just missing out on my whole teen ager high schooler thing , and I just really wanna experience all that, I wish I wasn’t ugly and skinny, I lowk be looking at other guys my age and be like, I just wish I was at least half the man they are, I’ll see how things turn out for me this school year I hope I get another chance to enjoy my live
