Where the hell is my life heading
So im a 17 male and it’s my junior year on hs, but with how things are looking for me I honestly don’t know where I’m heading, one of the biggest things I’ve wanted lately are friends, having someone or people I could talk to and do different activities with, but I don’t have any, I have some girls at my school to talk to and sit with and stuff, and I appreciate them, but outside of school we never talk or do anything because we’re not that close, im always alone tbh and it’s just so boring and sad I don’t even have family, literally just my mom, im shy and insecure about myself and I thought about changing but the change I need is something I can’t have because u don’t have the money, I want an operation, and ik I can accomplish that one day but, by the time I do it I’ll be out of high school, with notthing to do

I'm sorry you are struggling and feeling so alone and it's hard when you are shy!
Please know, these feelings do pass, and you do find your people, and where you fit in, it doesn't feel like it now, but it will happen and here you dont ever have you feel alone or be bored!
I cannot promise you I'm the life and soul of the party but I do have a sense of humour and I can listen!

I understand how you feel; this phase seems tough and confusing. But sharing your feelings is a strong step. Try to focus on the small things that make you happy, and sometimes just expressing yourself can improve the situation a bit 💚
Hi uknown333,
Thank you for opening up — that takes courage, especially when things feel heavy and uncertain. From what you’ve shared, it’s clear that you’re carrying a lot right now — not just the pressures of school, but the weight of loneliness, self-doubt, and the feeling of being stuck. That’s a hard place to be, and I want you to know your feelings are valid.
You mentioned wanting friends — not just people to sit with, but real connections — and that’s something so many people long for, even if it looks like everyone else has it figured out. You’re not broken or behind; you’re human. And even though it feels like things aren’t moving right now, the fact that you’re thinking deeply about your life and future already shows strength and self-awareness.
I hear how important this operation is to you, and it makes sense that waiting feels frustrating. It’s okay to want change, and it’s also okay to feel stuck while you work toward it. Just don’t lose sight of the fact that you can still get there — and that you deserve support along the way.
Please don’t isolate yourself in the idea that you’re alone forever. People do come into our lives, sometimes in unexpected ways, especially when we’re willing to keep reaching out like you’re doing now.
You're not nothing. You're someone in the middle of a very real, very tough chapter — and you're still here, still hoping. That matters.
You’re not alone in this.
