...See more Hi 7cups community, I need advice Take this as a trigger warning: mentions of horror movies and horror elements I have some friends in a grade older than me who all want to go see the horror movie "Buddy". me and my fellow junior friends don't like horror and are all skeptical. We expressed that together to them and they were supportive, saying they don't want us to be uncomfortable, but then also tried to convince us that it isn't that bad. All the reviews I saw said that it is gore and rated R. Given the fact that I'm the 2nd youngest in the group, I'm technically not allowed to see rated r movies, but they want us to sneak around. Normally I wouldn't have an issue with it normally except for the contents in the actual movie we would be seeing. the whole situation is weird to me and I don't entirely want to see this movie. They said they want to hang out with us and we have plans for dinner after as well, but that would be 2 hours of me being alone waiting for them. Should I go see it and walk out if it becomes to much or just wait for 2 hours and feel like a loser for not going?

...See more Hi, I’m 16 ftm and my friend confessed to me. A few things are bugging me though. First, I’ve told myself so many times that I’m unloveable because I’m trans but she always supports me and calls me cute/hot so it’s a shock to me. Second, I’ve never been in a relationship before so I asked her to wait until school starts so I can see if I’m ready for a relationship and she said she’d wait 3 years for me. Third, I love physically. I met her a month ago at camp and haven’t seen her face to face since so I have a hard time trusting her words alone because of past trauma I won’t get into rather than a longer hug or something along that line. Fourth, I don’t trust myself. I have pretty bad anxiety at times and this might be me in my head, but I afraid because of proximity or something physical I might catch feelings for someone else given the flirty banter of my theater friends and I or I’ll just screw up somehow and I’ll lose her friendship too. I just feel so stuck since this is all new to me and I don’t know what to do

...See more I've lost myself in life. My friends suck, I'm losing interest in what I used to love, I feel like I don't have talent, and everyone is piling meds on me trying to fix me like I'm broken. I don't know how to get out of this spiral, I just want to be normal again I have GAD and MDD so this stuff hits hard, but it's just the episodes I have. It's been happening for a while and I think i've truly lost myself

...See more Hiii I'm Jo, bisexual transmasc. One year ago I met a boy in my drama class, very gay. He and I grew close together and he was kinda flirty for a little bit I dismissed it. The day he gave me his sweater and said it looks better on me,  I realized I liked I'm. Since then, our friendship's boundaries have been pushed. We've gone from small touches and hands around shoulder to sittinng in each others lap. I specifically remember one dayy on the way back from a field trip late at night, we fell asleep cuddling eachother.  It's happened more, we've gotten more touchy and cuddly, he lays on my chest and lets me rub his, and recently we had an intimate moment backstage. The lights were low and we were close, there was a pull, he felt it too, but we were interrupted. Since then, its been more of "I love Jo" and "I see Jo everywhere I go" and I want to officially ask him out (despite the fact that we kinda already went on one unestablished date). My issue comes in that I've never asked anyone out before and the one time I did, I got rejected. I'm afraid of sayingg something wrong and ruining our friendship, which I still deeply value. I need some encouragement and advice

...See more This is my first time posting something here so hopefully I'm doing this right Last night I had a big rehersal for our spring musical. Beforehand, I had an anxiety attack and didn't come into the rehearsal feeling my best. Then I kept messing up and everyone was being scolded by the choreographer. I feel bad because I take all feedback as a personal attack and a little voice in my head says "Its your fault, you disappointed them." That night I went home and vented on my close friends a little but started crying. I feel like I don't deserve to be in this show or anything I've gotten. I feel like I'm dissapointing everyone. It's not helping that we had two lockdowns due to a prank which boosted my anxiety a bunch. I don't know what to do to stop feeling like this
