My name is Asher, and I valued empathy and emotional awareness from a young age. Even as a child, I naturally found myself being a comforter by listening to others, offering reassurance, and staying present when someone was struggling. Over time, this habit has grown into a genuine commitment to supporting people with care and intention. During school retreats and community experiences, I often find myself following my teachers and pastors. I spent time talking with others about their stories, challenges, and successes, learning how meaningful it can be simply to listen without judgment. I notice that when people share both their struggles and their joys, I feel a sense of connection by experiencing sorrow with them in difficult moments and happiness with them in moments of growth. I find deep fulfillment in being a listener for others, and I am motivated to join this organization because I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space. It would be my passion to contribute my time and care to helping others feel heard, understood, and less alone.

Compassionate and reflective with a strong interest in emotional healing, and self-development. I value creating a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone feels genuinely heard while also supporting meaningful insight and growth. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and helping people better understand their emotions, patterns, and relationships so they can build greater self-trust and emotional resilience.

Starting listening journey again 

As my screen name indicates, I AM here for you! I am a 2nd-year grad student working on a Master's in Social Work (MSW). Beyond that, I'm an experienced, inquisitive, and passionate professional with a strong background in communications, organizational development, and personal performance before returning to academia.  I am also a lifelong musician, having played drums, percussion, and sung for almost as long as I've been alive.  I'm currently playing with an incredible group that specializes in performing our own music as well as performing our own versions of incredible songs across many decades. I've been a writer, author, and speaker all for my entire life.

A tight slap of truth, I'm not the one who pampers. If you are only looking for pampering to get some relief, please contact some other listener. I am good with understanding things and showing directions. I like exploring perspectives so I won't mind yours. 😊
