Does anyone else here genuinely have no friends?
I feel embarrassed to talk about this bc everywhere I’ve talked about this, ppl will say they don’t have friends but actually do. Years ago I used to try making friends on R**it which I now know was probably a bad idea. Idk why I did that, but I realize now this was a waste of time. I live in an isolated area so I have been online a lot for most of my life. I just feel bad bc ppl always say they don’t have friends or are depressed but they are out every weekend partying with people, and idk. I just feel bad 😞
@greendayfangirl yeah i guess, i do have friends but they are not real 💀💀💀, sometimes imaginary sometimes AI
Goes both ways lol
@Chiwrld333 same with me, all boyfriends I’ve had were in my head too lol. I haven’t had a friend irl in years, probably doesn’t help I live in a very boomer area 😭
I used to want to go to concerts, travel, and now I realize I might never be able to do those things. It just feels very unfair. I feel like a complete failure and I have no help..
@greendayfangirl nah u are in the wrong *** environment as me, planning to move out of your here, i wish you well and u will find the people u deserve
@greendayfangirl
i have no friends either. My ADHD makes it hard to maintain friendships. It’s just to much, I end up forgetting to message back and ghosting them bc my anxiety makes it hard to message them after going to many days without replying
@sociableThinker9708 oh interesting, I don’t think most ppl care of you forget to message back for a week or 2. Sometimes it really is hard replying back to big texts so now I’m trying to tell ppl I prefer using voice messages bc texting is too hard. It’s annoying always having to stare at damn screen yknow?
Only my husband he’s my only friend my best friend I have disabilities and didn’t even date til 19 kinda wish I didn’t date til I met my husband got my heart broken and wasted myself with people that didn’t care about me and used and manipulated me for their gain only. My husband treats me alot better for sure. I have autism and adhd and intellectual disability and it is hard making friends on school or even as adults even harder I don’t drive so I can’t go make friends and I’m a mom and have a child so don’t have time for that with a kindergartener and other responsibilities. I’ll be glad to be your friend no matter your age etc on here and we can chat one on one if you’d like to at times. My name is Tiffany btw I’m almost 30 and happily married. I like journaling and reading my bible hunting and fishing and being with family listening to music country old rock n roll from late 70s to 2010s nothing new. Love Christian music so yes I am a Christian but don’t judge others. Love trying to make friends online that want to actually listen and help and are here for support and give support and nothing else. I actually don’t have real life friends anymore outside of family! Very small circle.
I stay at home alot as well don’t party or go out or any of that stuff I know how you feel I hate being lonely why I have a spouse lol he’s the only one I need hope you find one if you don’t have one already and not sure how old you are but I wish you luck in finding friends outside of online and a souse if you don’t have one.
@Tiffany48 thanks, and ya I wish I had a husband! Ughhh but sadly I’m single so not dating anyone. But that definitely would make me feel better to have someone.
If it makes you feel any better I met my husband on MeetMe as I don’t drive so I had my mom drive me and we met at McDonald’s and went from there.
I literally have no friends. I mean I have people who would call me their friend but they aren't mine. I'm there if they need me but it isn't reciprocal. Those relationships are all online. I do not have people over for dinner. I know the parents of my childs friends but I don't like them enough to trust them with information regarding a broken fingernail. I'm certainly not talking to them about my mental health. I hand nothing in common with the people at church. I literally do not speak to anyone outside of church. I barely speak to them in it.
