A letter of gratitude
Hi there! The purpose of this post of mine is to thank a particular listener here. Unfortunately i don't remember their username, so i can't personally thank that person. Around 4 months ago, i was struggling in my life. I needed someone to genuinely listen to me, not simply just empathise with me, also help me with their wise words. That particular listener did exactly that. I don't know if they remember me or not ( although i texted them for a few times for several weeks) and I'm quite embarrassed that i can't remember their username. However, I need to admit that I'm grateful to that person from the bottom of my heart. I don't know if this letter will ever reach them or not, still hoping it does. Dear friend, if you see this, lemme give you a great news. I finally got out of that toxic environment that was affecting my inner peace. I no longer regret the bygones. I'm finally happy. And this wouldn't have been possible if you weren't there to help me with your wise words. I'll forever be grateful to you. Wishing for your happiness ❤️
Hiya @lostrhymes this is incredibly wholesome to read. I love seeing the positive ripple effect from our community here!🥰
Bless the kind hearted person who supported you. I hope your gratitude reaches them too. For I can attest to the fact that anybody would be utterly grateful to hear their support and kindness helped someone find inner peace and do/ become better.💛
By the way, if their account is still active/ available, and if you can recall even parts of their username, you might be able to find them on your member dashboard under the section where it says "listeners you've talked to". (I hope a member account user reading this can confirm the exact location of this section, as I cannot recall that at the moment😅)
Having said that, one can receive all the help and wise words etc everything but the willingness for a change and the courage to even reach out for support while putting in the effort to do better for yourself, always comes from within, soo major major credits to you for being so resilient and brave to break past the toxicity of the environments that had you stuck earlier.
Upwards and onwards! 💛
