Deeper conversations online?
How do you find people online who are interested in deeper intellectual conversations?
I don't have much people to talk about such stuff in real life. So it'd be nice to meet people online who would just agree to sit n chat about philosophies, life, ideas, thoughts, theories and maybe some politics and religion and things going on with the world.
It can be pretty hard to find these people.
Small talk, this and thats of daily life are nice sometimes. But often times we need something deeper, more meaningful with greater value to recharge ourselves and unwind from "dailyness". So just wondering how to get to those people.
Also, do hit me up if you are one of them. It'd be nice to have a conversation.

is indeed pretty hard to find.
Discuss Philosophies and/or theories are usually alright for most people.
But politics and religions may have issues over a platform like over here.
All threads on the forum are open for anyone to read.
It might either trigger somebody or
some may feel very strongly about certain viewpoints;
hence not everyone can adopt an approach of "agreeing to disagree".

Politics and religion are just choices i mentioned, it doesn't necessarily have to be that.

@sensiblePine9214 I found that it's more welcoming to talk about those topics during the language learning process than in any other setting. Therefore, I often bring them up during my English or Chinese speaking classes or request to have those topics before a discussion with my peers. I hope this helps!
Try mentioning these topics to a listener. I've met some listeners here who are very insightful and they've shared their beliefs and theories with me.
