Do tou feel behind when you compare yourself to people around your age? How do you get out of that?

I believe we all compare ourselves to others in one way or another, but the main problem is when it starts to affect how we feel about ourselves.
We all follow paths to get us to where we are today, just because you aren't on the same path as someone else, doesn't make it wrong or bad, it just means you are on another path and are working towards something different.
Everyone experiences childhood and growing up very differently too, so if you have a negative through process where you are telling yourself negative things you will start to believe them.

Try telling yourself something positive about yourself everyday for 21 days and see if this makes a difference,

Writing down positive attributes about yourself and leaving them somewhere you can see them each day is a good tool too.

It's time to boost your confidence and make you realise you are a great person.

Dear Beloved,

Many people feel behind at times when they compare themselves to others. However, comparison can be misleading because we often compare our struggles, setbacks, and insecurities to the parts of other people's lives that are most visible to us.

Everyone moves through life at a different pace and faces different circumstances and challenges. When you notice yourself comparing, try to shift your focus back to your own life. Consider how you have grown, what challenges you have overcome, and what small steps you can take toward your own goals. Progress does not have to look the same for everyone.

It can also help to limit comparisons that leave you feeling discouraged and spend more time focusing on activities, relationships, and personal goals that are meaningful to you.

Be compassionate with yourself. Your worth is not determined by how closely your life matches someone else's timeline. Focus on your own growth, one step at a time.
