I don't know why but somehow recently my personality is getting changed.

1. I am not getting interest in anything. Like work, hobbies etc.

2. Always want to be lazy, lying on my bed.

3. I start a work and find difficult to continue it and lose interest in doing it.

4. Always nice to get isolated from the peers, colleagues even family. I like being alone(don't know why).

5. This is imp. Though I think of working on it, just after starting I again gets dis-interested and leave the thing.

All these things are happening with me. I feel all these things are giving me. Definitely bad feeling.

Can anyone help me.

Thanks.

@solaceseeker007 what you just said is actually a regular occurance for me. I've learnt that when this starts happening, is to stop trying to do them instead just think ok I'm gonna take a month or so to relax before I do them again. Without the pressure soon enough you'll start doing things again, and it will feel enjoyable just as before. Good luck sweetie ❤gives you a giant festive tiny hug ❤❤

@solaceseeker007

I completely get what you're going through right now as I've been in your shoe not just one or two times, buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt uncountable times. I just want you to know that it's totally normal to feel the way you're feeling, however that doesn't mean we normalize it in our day to day life. There could be various ways through which we can tackle it. Not every coping mechanism works for everyone. So we need to figure out what work best for us. Personally for me, meditation and sketching is really helpful. Sometimes change of environment is everything i need to be full of life again. I genuinely hope that you be able to get through this stage of your life.

Hey, hope you are doing fine now. I can totally relate to your life. I was like this few years back. I enjoyed being in my bedroom and always slept with my headphones on and not be bothered about anything or anyone around me. But deep inside there was a aching to go out and be normal like everyone. Even when someone tried to come inside, I tried to push them away. But eventually I couldn't keep continuing the same way. It took a great amount of energy but I slowly started pushing myself to take baby steps to bring back my life.

Our brain makes everything seem like it's the end of the world and it will keep continuing till you accept it. The one thing that changed my mind was one morning I stepped outside my dark room to the outside of my house. It was so bright and breezy and colorful. And seeing that my depressive thoughts were gone but when I again came to my room it felt so dull and dark. That's when I was able to feel the words and images my mind kept showing me were not the truth but they were it's own perception.

I'm not sure of what can be the right support. But try to show your mind different perception of life. For you to recognise your condition itself is a big step you have done. Same way, start showing yourself the beauty in something whenever your mind tells you nothing is there in life. I'm happy to connect if you need someone to listen!! Hoping you find your spark one day!!
