It's happening again. I am feeling extremely lonely again, and I am crying...again (trigger warning)
I honestly am asking myself at times why I keep on living. Because I am stuck in an endless cycle, that's been for a decade, with no end in sight, and I can't do ANYTHING about it. I can't make friends, I can't find a partner, trying to make online friends doesn't work. Nothing works. I am forced to go through a permanent cycle between feeling numb & depressed and crying, and frankly speaking, I am completely fed up with all of this. I keep hoping for friendship, for love, for a hug, that will NEVER come. Why do I even bother hoping for all of it anymore? It hurts, it sucks and I am powerless to change it. And please, don't tell me about self-love, that doesn't help at all

What can you do ? ..... honestly the biggest thing is to make small changes and stick with them ..... when in a depression or lonely we somehow expect to go out and in one day it is all better or put too much pressure on potential friendships or relationships to be the cure all of our issues they never are.
I believe in being open to new things and never underestimate where friends can come from.... the limits we have are often self inflicted ..... i cannot even count up all the friends or opportunities i missed while i told myself things were pointless or did not go to events or hobbies because i negatively talked myself out of it.....
@toughTiger6481 The thing is, there are no events in my town at all, which is another issue which is a huge stick in my bike wheel. Even though I agree that people can come from any and all places, what are the chances of this happening? Most people on the streets, at a cafe, or literally anywhere in public space, do not want to be bothered/approached/talked to at all. Another thing that is a issue is that I go to an art workshop, and I am the only student there, and no one else, and there are no other workshops in my town either, so I don't have this option either...

I have gone to same place a few times and you are correct few ( some do not mind) want someone to walk up and talk but if there a few times i have got the nod of recognition of being there same time as others and then small talk becomes a bit more have a lunch gathering in a week from this sort of thing....
Where you live are there apps like next door? or meet up?
these often tell you of things going on in places that you may not hear of..... ..if not already connected with the group putting on an event. i am sure you have tried what you are comfortable with ... i did same and got no where........ i decided to speak up with a well placed compliment and started some conversations. i once sat and talked with a guy at the framers market for an hour just because i asked about his booth and how he started in farming of a specific crop.
@toughTiger6481 Unfortunately, the meetup app is not used where I live at all
