i am 28 male, married 4 months ago

i was in a relationship for a year and everything was going good

but after marriage we are having issues

she gets angry everytime i try to have a conversation with her, if I can't understand her then i ask her then she gets angry,

she even beats me gets really angry and always blame me

she disrespects me and give me threats of divorce even in small mistakes i do she gets mad at me, she also disrespects her mother, father and brother, she abuses them as well,

i am living in fear, she disrespectd my family as well,

i do all the chores, she also does but not that much, mostly i only do it, we are living together in a rented apartment and i pay all the rent she only pays bills for the cook which is 2.2k, i pay 10k approx in rent and electricity and 3-4k for groceries, i also send money to my parents because they are poor and in my marriage they used lots of savings for me,

but now I can't take it anymore. i can do everything for her because i really love her, and i only want respect and love from her thats all

she says she is misandrist, she hates men because what men used to do earlier with women but she doesn't faced anything like that, i am not that patriarchy perosn, i always supported her, what to do now

@Peter871

I'm so sorry she is treating you like this.

She can't say so flippantly, I hate men, but then marry you.

She has no right or justification at all to beat you or to abuse her parents and siblings.

This is very entitled behaviour.

You don't deserve any of it.

A marriage is about love, respect, honest communication, not anger, abuse or control.

It's not your fault.

I'm so sorry you are going through this 💜💖

Unless you want to live this way forever, you need to set some boundaries. her behavior as you have described is not acceptable IMO.    She threatens divorce call her out and say OK.   she disrespects you or your family walk away and tell her you expect an apology when she gets her mood under control.

the chores and or the bills should be shared. give her time to seek help with her anger issues but when you no longer put up with the behavior, she will need to decide what she really wants.
