Snowy my love

I just wanted to share a poem i wrote.for my beloved snowy(my cat). I wanted to out it out there so that it happens someday..still hoping after 4 years, here it goes 

Snowy, my love

From the moment I met you,

I knew our bond could never be broken.

I don’t know what went wrong,

or where your paws carried you away —

but if I ever meet you again, in any form,

I pray for the gift to recognize you.

In this life, or the next,

may you always be protected,

blessed by my love,

held in the shelter of my affection.

Like Lily Potter’s spell for Harry —

but this time, forever.

And if by grace I get to hold you again,

to feel your soft paw against my face,

to breathe in your sardine-stinky breath

(that I miss more than I thought I could) —

I’ll whisper only this:

I love you.

I have always loved you.

I miss you more than words can carry.

Until we meet again.
