To Survive In A Job
Hey all, i’m pretty new here. Just would like to share my thoughts and feelings abt smtg I’ve been thinking and feeling.
So I graduated from university early last year, and have worked a corporate job for the past 1.5 year. However, recently, i’ve been feeling overwhelmed on the stress and commitment of my role. My company is a good one, with great environment and good colleagues. However, in my current department, the work-life balance is rather limited and the workload is ridiculously heavy.
I wish to stay in this company. And there’s a way out, where I can switch to another department after serving for 2 years at least. What i’m trying to inquire here is that, until that time comes when I switch department, what positive mindset must I have? In order to endure this for the time being.
I would appreciate your kind words and the positive thinking methods that I could apply to get through this period. Like how my thoughts should be, to make me resilient to push through. Hoping to hear your feedbacks. Need a little help here, thanks 😊.
PS: My current role is not related to my major in university, so at the same time i’ve had a hard time here and there on my current job scope. Would also need kind advice on how to capture things swiftly in what you do at work.

I have been in a place before that you had to be in current role for X amount of time before applying or moving into another department ...... on the surface it does not seem long but actually in the situation makes it seem much longer... when ever i found myself in places i just had to hold out i found one day at a time or a week at a time and not focus on the longer term helped pass the time ...
it was also amusing to me just when i was about to pull the switch on changing the job i am in seems better and the small annoyances seemed to fade.
