What do people DO?
A huge problem im having rn is boredom and lonliness. Im in a happy relationship but my bf is a big hermit, though he will go out with me anytime if I plan the outing. Im a huge extrovert and ideally would go out with people doing stuff everday, but I only have 4 friends and if Im being honest I only really enjoy hanging out with one of them whos only free once every 2-3 weeks. Under crazy financial stress right now so I cant really go to movies or bowling or any of that, and it just seems like theres nothing else to do? Too cold for walks, cant spend money shopping or eating out, and what else is there? I do homework and watch movies but I feel like Im just wasting away. I want to get out of my gross little apartment and have fun but theres just nothing and its really taking a toll on me mentally.

Do you ever feel the urge to go do and such seems strongest when we are in a financial pinch? being outside and doing things is hard in the cold ..... going browsing in store/ mall gets people out but the urge to spend can be overwhelming. you can look up community meetings or events that interest you.
@Thedagger45632 I am not giving advice, because I do not know how safe this is, but it popped into my mind when I read your post. I had seen it pop up in my news feed with people speaking well of it. 🤣
Wishing you lots of fun things to do, the safest way you find to do it! 😄
Haha Id seen the rent a friend thing before. Looked at it but when i look up my area theres only one lady near me and shes 15 years older than me so thats a no lol

Foodbank volunteerBig Brother / Big Sister (or something similar)
Local community groups (religious, or rotary club, or non-religious)
Indoor Mall-walking
@Thedagger45632 Do you have an option to get a gym membership? A lot of friendships can be made there if you are a regular and extroverted enough. If this is not an option, you can start volunteering, or go to an exhibition/museum. They usually don´t have such high prices for entry, so maybe you could try it out if there is something around you that interests you. Also if you just want to be around people and do things, you can get a part time job in a store. I worked in a second hand for a short time exactly for this reason and loved it. So many people around me and so many interactions
@sadcat13 our apartment has a gym! Whenever i go theres either nobody or only one person with headphones which I guess isnt surprising since its quite small. I couldnt afford a gym membership right now.
@Thedagger45632 sure. I would recommend volunteering then or a part time job in a store.
