What’s the point
Hey I’m 20 and I’ve been struggling a lot with trying to find any meaning in life. I know that some people find meaning in relationships, careers, or religion, but I just see copes to fill the meaningless void. Life to me just seems so arbitrary and set up: born, school, work, retire, die. I just don’t see any point to living that life. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Please if anyone has any advice as to how they deal with this, I’m open to new perspectives.
@TylerConway
I guess to a certain extent.
We do work, eat, sleep, repeat.
What makes the difference in our life, is the people we choose to spend it with.
The impact we leave.
The ones we choose to love.
Being present.
Enjoying each and every opportunity that presents itself 💚😊
@Amanda84 I don’t try to be dramatic or dismissive and I really do appreciate your input, but I just don’t really love too many people on this earth. My home environment is kinda toxic, and the ones whom I do love have left home. I know you told me before that acts of kindness are what give you meaning, but I just still can’t get over the previous thoughts.
@TylerConway
You must be honest and I respect that
I'm sorry your home is so toxic.
You are not being dramatic or dismissive , just real, I respect that 💚
@Amanda84 btw I love your happy energy, it’s contagious😅.
@TylerConway
Thank you 😂💚
@Tytydafrenchfry I'm slowly realizing...we have free will. Just because that's what people do, doesn't mean you have to do it the same way or in the same order. Mix things up a little. Don't go home after work, go to a park. Or get lunch somewhere else or speak to a person you normally wouldn't. Explore! You have to break up your routines and open your mind. The box feels like a cage when you live inside it
