feeling disconnected
Have you ever felt completely disconnected from everyone and everything?No matter how sincerely I approach them, the people always ruin it. Either they say something disrespectful or they ignore me from the beginning.
And I know there are really nice people but why they are always only in internet :// and before you say "stop looking at your phone and look around in real life then you will see them"... i actually try everytime but only thing I get is disappointment.
If you were in a similar situation to mine, how did you change it?
@imfinethankyouandyou I hope you don't mind me adding my two cents. I don't have a solution. 😅
However, I can relate.
I think that nice people might be easier to ignore in the real world. I always had this impression that certain behaviors we discourage are the very same behaviors that get us what we want. I've seen people who were very pushy and very vocal about what they wanted, and so they always had the attention on them. Then they would be sweet occasionally, so nobody wanted to hate them for the times when they were rude. It seemed to me as if they always had people around to fluff their pillow, you know?
Either that or people don't express their kindness as much in-person because it takes more energy to put on a smile and a sweet tone. I actually think this has some grounds to stand on because I feel like I often find myself behaving more outwardly nice online. It's really hard to act sweet and get helpful words out in the real world. In fact, some people think I am mean or rude for just looking at them wrong. Online we can put a smiley 😊 and take more time to type out the right words before we send it to someone.
Sorry if that's a lot to read. I was unintentionally moving from theory-to-theory. But maybe you just wanted someone to give you a quick and easy solution instead...
No worries cause this was the thing I want!! And yes you are right. Online is easier but in real world it's hard to express real emotions honestly. And consequently it's hard to make friends for me :// online is easier. But I don't expect a lot too nevertheless they can't even do basic behaviors when someone talk with them. i hope i can make true friends as time passes. Thank you for your reply!!
@imfinethankyouandyou Aw. I'm sure you're doing better than you think! And even if I'm wrong about that, practice makes perfect. :)
Thank you as well! I'm really happy to hear that I added something worthy of reading!
