It sounds like you're in an incredibly difficult and complex situation. Living with an abusive partner is never easy, and I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with these challenges. Remember that your safety and well-being are paramount. If you're in an abusive relationship, it's important to prioritize your safety and consider reaching out to resources such as domestic violence hotlines, shelters, or counseling services. It's understandable that you might be seeking support and connection elsewhere, but ultimately, focusing on your own well-being and finding a way to escape an abusive situation should be a priority. If you're able to, seek help from professionals or organizations that can assist you in creating a plan for your safety and independence.
I was also in an emotionally abusive situation and I also cheated on him for like four months before he found out. I get where you are coming from. Cheating is bad and I felt terrible doing it but if I’m being honest, it felt like the one thing I could control in my life. I couldn’t control my currently *** boyfriend so I went to someone who could listen and be of emotional help and it was a situation I could kinda control. The living situation was complicated though. I’m we were living with my sister in her apartment so of course my boyfriend had to leave instead of me. I know you are stuck and this isn’t very helpful post but you will eventually leave. You can do it. There are domestic help lines for women in these specific situations and they help women find a place to temporally live and stuff like that. I think it’s just a matter of research but there is help out there!
