Hello, Im new to this website an am looking for some peer support! Has anyone ever faced a less than ideal situation with a coworker? I'm currently in a tough situation where my coworker wants things to be romantic but i do not however im worried it will make work difficult/awkward if i say no. Any advice?

Um, without any other details. I would just say no to a coworker romance if you aren't into it. Like, screw the other person's feelings. Please put yourself first here, it's not worth it even if it makes things more difficult for you and if it does then *** this job and please find another. You are here to work, not be an emotional handmaid/man.
@puzzledviper1455 first of all, reject any open advances if they are happening. If the coworker gets the message, awesome. If not, consider warning then once that this is not professional and if it will continue you will need to go to HR/boss/whoever with this, and follow through if needed.
If the advances are indirect:
- minimise interactions
- keep conversation professional
- reject hangout and other shared programs
- stop talking about personal life and when talking, don't make open ended conversation
