Well, this week's check-in covers Valentines Day!
This is a day that for many of us is one of the highlitght's of the year, but for other's it can be something to dread. Whatever your feelings I think it is important to think about yourself and self-love.
I used to really hate when people would tell me " if you don't love yourself, then why should anyone else love you?"
“Self Love” refers to our ability to hold ourselves in esteem and have confidence in our worth, no matter what happens around us.
Self-love is a popular term today that gets tossed around in normal conversation: "You have to love yourself more.". "Why don't you love yourself?". "If you only loved yourself, this wouldn't have happened to you.". "You can't love another person until you love yourself first.".

@MistyMagic These are good questions to ask. Sometimes it can be really hard to truly love yourself. Personally, i tend to be my own worst critic! Lately, I have been spending more time doing things I enjoy (hello, family, friends, and hobbies!), and less time worrying about what other people think. I have been allowing myself to say "No" to things that don't fit my timeline/priorities.
I've also been monitoring my time on social media, because it's not helpful to spend too long scrolling.
@purplelady568 Yes I agree, social media can be a godsend or it can also be something terrible. I like your balance :)
