@MelancholicSam Hello, welcome here. Thank you for posting and introducing yourself.

I do not have lived experience personally with ADHD, but I do know that it can be challenging to manage. I have several friends who deal with it in various ways. Some people choose to use medication, talk therapy, or other coping skills. You may want to review this 7cups guide - https://www.7cups.com/adhd/

36, same here and I just talked to my doctor. Ended up with meds which I wasn't exactly sure I wanted. Now, it's like my brain works all the way. All the thoughts where always there but you know... you get distracted, jumbled. Start 50 things and then have to go back in circles to finished them. My thoughts were the same which I need often. Critically and quickly for work. It has been amazing having organized thoughts. That I will say has been the best improvement. And around 5 pm when it wears off and I go back to forgetting what I was doing, cutting people off when talking. Or going down a dozen rabbit holes in a story. I just crack a joke about my meds wearing off.

Hi there, I'm so glad the meds are helping. Nothing worse than feeling you're not in control of your body

@UntilTomorrowSSS this post made me not want to take meds or get diagnosed. The fact that it wears of means you have to take it forever

I'm 21 . I don't know whether I'm suffering with adhd or not but at times I feel very anxious and from past few days I'm getting intrusive thoughts which really absurd . I don't to think stuffs but still mind feels heavy and it's leading to headaches and I'm not able to concentrate . I don't know what to do .. I really need help but I'm scared of asking help . My thoughts are making me going downhill .
