Hi!
Please be rest assured I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and extend well wishes to you!
Whatever it is that you are currently going through, it sounds hard. I understand. I think many of us are going through so very much right now in our lives. You are not alone!

It's okay if you don't want to share what the specifics are. For me to know that you are going through something, anything, yes, it's enough to get my attention and start sending what I call "knee mail" on your behalf. If you do decide you ever want to share, we have a big community of wonderful people that will wrap their arms around you and help to the best of our abilities. I send you big *hugs*
my friend!
Thank you so much for your wonderful reply, friend! Heart warming. It's hard to know where to begin when I'm dealing with so much, there's a lot on my mind this morning... and I'm praying for discernment and clarity in making the right decisions.

You are so very welcome my friend!
I can understand when it all just becomes so very overwhelming, just so much going on that it truly is hard to know just where to begin. Sometimes it can feel as if the heart and the mind are just so flooded, so much to deal with, sometimes it can be really hard to sit down and what I call sometimes "teasing it all apart". Sometimes even, it can get so overwhelming that we truly feel "stunned" as in, we just sit, and then sit some more. And are so upset, so frustrated that our minds might feel kind of locked up. Overwhelmed, hard to think, hard to process any of it. Just one big glob, one big glob of mess!
We know as humans, it's a big glob, a huge glob and so, we feel as if all along we have been pushing an elephant up a hill. Darn that is really hard! And we've really tried for so long, and we loose traction, and we feel the elephant coming back for us on that hill. It's coming, and we feel at times the elephant is going to finally crush us if we just let go of it.
Maybe today, you've given yourself a break, to put your hands in the air? If not, it might be needful. Hands in the air, let go of the elephant.......maybe for at least a bit of time, hand it over to the power of prayer, hand it over to self care and letting yourself off of the hook, maybe for 24 hours. Letting yourself know that you are important and that you matter in all of this too. And handing some of it over to people that care about you, people just like me!

Another thing that I think of many times is "what's the best way to "eat" that elephant....one bite at a time" When we get overwhelmed like this, it really is hard to process it all, come up with action plans on how to do just that. Sometimes giving ourselves time, a specified amount of time for self care, processing and reaching out to others can be good.
I still send you big *hugs*

me again
who knows, after allowing yourself some time, time away from the big decisions, engaging in self care, venting with a listener in a 1-1 chat, letting it all out, letting it flow (and prayer).......
it could come a time to jump back into the process of decison making only when you are ready. There are lots of things I like to do for that type of thing. I guess for me, I have tools in my little "tool box" but even for me, I ran into this exact same type of thing only recently. I let myself sit, just sit in the overwhelming feeling of it all. I told myself "this too shall pass" not meaning the issues, but the feeling of being overwhelmed if I just gave myself the chance to let go of it all for a moment, for a space in time, think about it all and let my own juices flow for thinking.
I got my head back in the game and got back up on that horse. I let my mind unload with pen and paper, I unleashed the "beast" lol. I set out to making an action plan for the many different things that needed to be done in my life, what should go first, what should go second. To see it on paper for me is what I call "brain dumping". Oh, the sleepless nights if I don't finally "dump it". But part of it truly is the motivation to do so. And I really believe in doing the self care, and reaching out to a listener to vent. I too have a member account. I have only used it maybe 3 times, but I know it's there! And there is no shame in me reaching out for help too. Everyone needs support from time to time.
Oddly enough, all of these things that were swirling in my mind, are related to other peoples lives that depend on me. I not only have to organize my mind and physical space but sometimes theirs as well. And for me the time is NOW to drag some of these issues and people I love across the finish line. For me, it's a hero story and I'm getting traction!
