Is my life worthless
Last yr I had an internet stalker who found my address and decided to pop by he ran me down with his car at my home split my kidney. Police arrived said I looked fine and left. Took 3 attempts to get police to take my statement and all evidence. The outcome was He said he didn't do it and no witness. So alone I got a restraining order which he has broken 3 times. Even with his photo and phone number I was told he lives with other people so not enough evidence. So I'm now a prisoner in my own home afraid,scared with nowhere to turn for help. I'm at rock bottom and have succumbed to the exceptance I am worth nothing. I'm either crying or ready to rip someone apart there's no in-between. I'm at point I'm ready to self sabotage what's left of my life because what's left is just the pain of knowing I'm worthless
@wiccandragon your life isnt worthless, its not your fault the justice system is failing you as it does to so many. Do you have any friends or family near by? maybe somone could come just stay with you for awhile. Help you set up like a buddy system or maybe set up a secuirty system to try to get this person caught?

I agree with setting up the security cameras and having friends/family stay a while.
I would also advise of another step further and recommend you hire a private investigator.
Also, talking to people experienced in helping victims of stalking.

You can contact them either by phone call, text messages, or instant messaging in their website[remember to use incognito mode for anonymity!] They can also help provide you with resources to steer you in the right direction. They’re very empathetic and helpful, I have had mostly good experiences when I talked to them based on my situation.
You are not worthless. I’m sorry you have experienced such unfair treatment and I can imagine it feels very traumatic. You did not deserve to be stalked and injured and failed by the criminal justice system. Just know that there are people that care. Please don’t internalize the pain and make it your fault. You are not worthless!! Can you stay with someone for a while? Trust me, the Justice system has failed me also, and a young friend of mine recently as well. I’m so sorry to hear of your situation.
my young friend can’t live in her home anymore, too scary, she stays with other friends or me, or just sleeps in her car. It’s sad she can’t be safe at home.
