35 hit me so hard. I always considered it a milestone age and now that I’m past it, I feel zero motivation/hope. Side note, I do have my dream job but my team/company sucks. I love what I do but it feels so hard waking up everyday knowing I have to deal with them. Anyways, rant over. So happy I have somewhere to post these thoughts 💛

@Melly321 i can understand working a good job but the environment the workers create around you is toxic, not managed well. Team work makes the dream work. When they take away one from them they break the dream.

Hi there :) Thank you for sharing. 35 is a milestone age and I celebrated being 35 last year. It is interesting as I think the older we get the more we reflect on life. You are doing so amazing to have your dream job and I am hoping the environment with your colleagues improves as being a team that is aligned is so important not only for our work but our wellbeing too.

Take care and keep sharing. You're not alone.

Feeling better starts with a single message. Check out my profile and reviews.

35 is still young though your not that old

I get it. At 25 I had a wonderful job. I was valued, the place was beautiful, I knew I was good at it... But a team leader came, just one person, and made going to work ***. 90% of us left in the next 3 months. And the business eventually closed.

20 years later I'm in a job I don't like. But my workmates are great, not close friends, but good people. It makes all the difference.

You are still young to find something else in the same field but with another team. I hope you have good luck with that.

We're not old yet, but it feels like it, doesn't it?

I think having an unfulfilling career is the worst part. I could get older much easier if that wasn't the case.

I'm glad to hear at least that you love what you do, even if the people you work with aren't that great. I think that can go a long way at this stage of life.

Hope things look up for you soon.
