46 yr old single mom feeling isolated & lost
I’ve been feeling so alone, unsure and worried about possibly becoming an empty nester in the near future. So many changes and challenges happening daily and I haven’t had the motivation to even keep up. Everything feels hard and like I don’t have support either. Having mixed feelings about family, my mother namely and even friends. I would love to be able to talk w someone and make some better friends who are also thoughtful, compassionate and non-judgmental.
Would u like to talk to me.
I know the feeling of being isolated and trust me I too can't take it anymore. You can feel free to to reach out to me.
Thank you for sharing this. It sounds really heavy trying to manage so many changes and feeling alone at the same time. You’re not weak for feeling this way – it’s a lot to carry. I’m glad you spoke up here.
@dreamywings79 I relate to your feelings. I'm 46, a single father, and also feel the pain of isolation and uncertainty.
Parenting has changed significantly, and the thought of an empty nest brings mixed emotions. Carrying daily challenges while feeling limited support is tough.
Connecting with empathetic people, even a few genuine friends, helps. Reaching out here can be a start to feeling less alone.
You're not broken for feeling this way; it's normal during big life changes. If you want to talk, I'm here to listen. Though our paths differ, we're both seeking connection and understanding.
@dreamywings79 I am in the same boat. I was hoping to relate to a similar situation
