Brain fog and memory issues
Lately I've started to realize that I've been dealing with a lot of brain fog and memory issues. I didn't even catch it until it started causing problems at home and work.
My career is permanently stalled after a few things one of which is not really learning procedures. I can do them but I have to ask small details that are normally easily recalled or figured out. My wife and I are having serious difficulties because I can't recall some of her food issues when I'm making dinner or I'll make it the wrong way. The worst bit is that I don't even realize it. I think and try and still get it wrong. After 6 years together and three years married I'm missing a lot of the little details that I should have and did pick up. Now it's like they never existed. I've wrecked a months worth of dinners and 3 consecutive Christmases and birthdays based on doing/getting the wrong thing.
It's very hard and isolating. I don't even want to be around people or my wife because I forget so much. We have a lot going on and I'm sure it's going to wreck things.

I'm sorry you are feeling so stressed.
And isolated.
But open up, let your loved ones support you and know what's going on and what it feels like for you 💚
It's not something you are actively doing on purpose.
Please don't put so much stress in yourself 💚

@secretSail3092 get a blood test maybe it’s anemia. I also have extra brain fog when I’m more depressed than usual or not sleeping well. I have an anxiety disorder and when it’s bad at work I make even more mistakes like I’ll forget to put away food or go get my tires changed but forget the money and the tires at home. I’m an electrician and wasted 20 minutes once looking for a tool I misplaced and was using 30 seconds earlier, frantically looking in every condo unit several times in from of my coworkers and bosses until someone saw it on the ladder I was using. This was all when I was extra stressed and wired constantly panicking to work fast. Take it easy, I met this alarm technician that said he’s always making stupid mistakes and he treated himself harshly even his wife told him to stop abusing himself. It stuck with me because I thought those little mistakes of his weren’t a big deal because I make them myself and he was apologizing. I thought he was very smart. Yet when I make stupid mistakes I abuse myself. My mistakes are very frequent and sometimes costly and dangerous
