Gullible - easily manipulated
Among many things I am currently facing, the simplest, yet potential issue, I have from years. I am very gullible and can be easily manipulated. Though I like to be vigilant and observant of my surroundings and people, still I believe people easily and fall for their words. Time and time this had me on the losing side from silly things to work place fall guy. Appreciate any suggestions.

unfortunately to me people can seem to sense those who are ready to believe .... and they do fall into being manipulated ........ is their a reason you are trusting and believe things ?
is it you just have more faith that people will not take advantage? that is a good trait unlike others who question everything and trust little.

Thank you for responding. I think I am like this right from my childhood, trusting people mostly, especially when I feel they are my close circle. But often get taken advantage of or get fooled, which I am a bit frustrated about, after falling for their tricks again and again. I have been played by not only by people outside my circle, but also by people whom I considered very close to heart. The issue is, if it is people from my inner circle, I completely trust them and not question their motives when they say something or make me do something. Sometimes I feel like I wanna learn and incorporate in my brain to think like a spy, who is always alert and questions everything he/she hears or sees around.

Nice in theory but not practical ..... i think you just learn to either expect to keep your good nature heart and trust and on occasion be taken ............. or trust no one and that is sad and alone,
