Im 36 almost 37 and my life is a mess.
I am 36. Still living at home in a toxic environment. Two failed relationships and a very recent situationship that left me heartbroken. I suffer from a mood disorder since my early 20s. I dont have a job nor savings. I can only teach languages butwhere i live there are zero opportunities. This is only a vent. I am trying to stay alive.
@sympatheticSquare6031 huge round of applause for not giving up still...! Hang in there... Time is surely changing... Dont stop living for yourself. Sending u hope, light and peace...
@sympatheticSquare6031 It seems you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time, and anyone in your position would feel exhausted and discouraged. painful relationships, years of struggling with mood, and feeling stuck professionally can make it seem like life is moving for everyone except you.
but i can say from experience that it does not mean your story is over, believe me i been there, Mid 30s is not too late for healing, love, or rebuilding. many lives do not begin to come together until much later than its expected. failed relationships does not mean you are not good at it . It could be a matter of choices and luck.
Struggling with your mood does not mean you are broken and having no job or savings right now does not mean you have no future.
Sometimes life falls apart repeatedly before the patterns become clear enough to change. The fact that you can recognize what hurts you means you are already more self-aware than many people ever become.
You do not need to fix everything at once. One honest step at a time " ending unhealthy cycles, applying for one opportunity, building one habit " can slightly change the direction of your life.
Please do not measure the rest of your life by your hardest years. Some chapters are survival chapters, not final chapters.
I know there is still time for things to get better.
Just dont lose hope and try to fix the smallest easy things one by one, and i know with time things will get better .
@sympatheticSquare6031 Hi, thank you for the post. I love your line " I am trying to stay alive.".
What a fighter you are, even after hardships you are still fighting and shows that with believing in you and being true yourself, you will see lots of opportunities on your way coming soon.
